Two for lunch at a table on the beach. Our first time at Adauto's. We ended up here as we wanted a table in the sand and under an umbrella. All of our usual restaurants were full. Glad that happened as we had a great meal. My wife and I both prefer a meal without onions. We ordered guacamole without onions. Our guacamole arrived perfectly prepared and no onions. In addition, they prepared the salsa without onions specifically for us. 20 years I have been coming to the PV area and this is the first restaurant that did that - very perceptive and appreciated. We plot an order of fish tacos and it was excellent. Nice presentation, good portion, and probably one of my top tasting fish (mahi mahi) tacos. The rice was formed in the shape of a star fish. Even the refried beans had a good and unique taste. Service was provided by a host of waiters, attentive but not overbearing. The crashing waves provided the right ambiance. A little bit fancier and also pricier for Mexican standards but it's definitely worth it if you are looking for delicious seafood and nice customer service. Their fried shrimps and vegetarian fajitas were both amazing! You won't regret those choices. We also had their cheesecake and coconut pie, both were absolutely delicious! The only two things I did not like were: 1. the street sellers passing by every minute trying to get you to buy something from them (quite annoying!) but I understand that the restaurant can't probably do much about that, 2. they don't have any draft beers and overall very poor beer selection in bottles and cans (it is just all typical Mexican watery lagers), but one can forgive that if they can enjoy one of their tasty meals on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. read more

You can't beat the location - literally 10' from the water. We asked for a table closer to the water and they moved 2 right out there for us. Service was very accommodating and food was all very good - with one exception: the scallops which were advertised as done in butter and garlic but came diced and fried like popcorn shrimp. Because everything else was so good I chalk this up to a miscommunication/language barrier so it didn't factor into the rating. Great live music playing American pop classics. Fire show entertainment on the beach was great. BUT AND ITS A BIG BUT...the service is soooo incredibly slow! I don't mind having a cocktail or two and appetizers to wait for food (which we did) but even after the appetizer round the main dish was 40+ minutes out. Very put out by the slowness. Place wasn't even that busy - might be leftover from COVID but needs fixed quickly. read more

My husband and I went there last night. There was a native Indian drummer in full costume and a singer/guitar player afterward. What a treat! Both were fabulous. My husband had the tortilla soup (which was fantastic and the chicken enchiladas. I went with the diabla shrimp which was spicy and delicious. The plate was very artfully presented. You can either sit at a table inside or be seated on the beautiful Bucerias beach. The staff is efficient and knowledgeable. Good food, reasonable prices, nice menu, pretty place. Excellent restaurant. Four of us enjoyed various type of shrimp and octopus. Not only was the food excellent, the presentation deserved the same rating. There was a wedding party celebrating while we enjoyed our meal which made the evening even more special. Eating on the beach watching the sunset will be always a highlight for us. The only caution is that you will be approached by different individuals selling their goods but at all times they were respectful. This is a definite "must" to visit and we will be back next year. read more

We've been coming here as our go to spot on the beach in Bucerias for the past five years. About a 35 minute walk down the beach from Villa Del Palmar in Nuevo Vallarta. Always attentive service and very fresh sea food. Max and David are our favorite servers. We love the seafood platter when we are in mood to splurge - just ask how the lobster are on that particular day - some days hey are smaller and not worth it. This was recommenced to us by our concierge Gibran at La Estancia Resort. It was a fun place and especially so at the beach tables, just forget about all the vendors wondering through. If you're turned off by the local vendors, your safe upstairs seating. We went with the coconut Prawns and garlic fried red snapper. I've never seen my husband eat like that before, like a fish through a processing machine. Both entrees were awesome. I had the seafood platter with grilled lobster tails, red snapper fish and jumbo shrimp. The butter and garlic was incredible for dipping the lobster tails. I had the most amazing jumbo coconut shrimp I've ever had here! Loved it and we're definitely going to be back before our vacation is over. We were walking around town looking for somewhere to get some breakfast. Being low season, most places were closed and we were tired of walking so we settled on Adauto's. The coffee was good, my eggs mexicana were just alright, the beans that came with it were lukewarm. Also, they allow kids to come into the restaurant selling junk, a constant stream of kids hassling us as we tried to eat. Excellent food, great service and good cold beer. Both the arracherra steak and stuffed poblano chillies were flavorful and well prepared.
