I visited El Brujo on Monday, 1/23/23, during dinner time. Food: For the appetizers, I tried the different flavors of the oysters: Natural, Rockefeller, and Garlic & Butter. The oysters were super fresh and each one tasted delicious. I also ordered five of the HUGE Shrimp that was bacon-wrapped with cheese and topped with a delicious sauce and bell peppers. It was a special of the restaurant, offered for 600 pesos. It was a really good deal for each shrimp to be almost as big as my hand. Service: The staff members were so sweet and attentive. Ambiance: At my table, I had a beautiful ocean view. It was breathtaking. El Brujo's food is super delicious and the ambiance is beyond amazing. I recommend coming here. read more

There are not enough words to describe this most amazing restaurant. To begin with the view is irreplaceable. Sitting at a table and looking at the waves roaring in brings calmness and beauty to any one's day. On to the impeccable service. A big shout out goes to Enrique for his attentiveness during this perfect evening. He was very accommodating and welcoming. We walked from our hotel nearby to try this place. We loved the location right on the beach. I ordered the mocajete mix and ceviche, the mocajete was ok. The meat were over cooked and the sauce (Mole) was over powering. I didn't finish it. The ceviche had slots of flavors so I ate more of that. The service was ok as they cleaned out the plates while you're still eating. I had to tell the guy "would you wait until I finish?" So rude! The hubby had mahi-mahi, he thought was good, I tasted it and it was ok as well. This place only has a great view but they need to work on the service and quality of food. Just saying‍‍I recommend this place only if you don't care about the taste, quality of food and service, etc. read more

Awww bro...the view on the upper deck patio is spectacular and the food is the same. I specifically like the awesome service staff here. The fine looking maitre'd brought me over to the lead chef and called me "Big Baby" with a laugh...I guess because I'm so tall, hah! On a recent vacation in early March, this was the best of Bucerias's beachside restaurants, in our family's humble opinion. The food was amazing-- tasty, authentic food highlighting the regional cuisine with excellent margaritas to boot! Though it is not economical (i think we paid between $35-$50 total each for the 2 lunches we ate here, but that included an alcoholic beverage or two each plus juice for the LO), it was totally worth it to us because eating under a palapa on the sand meant our little girl (who is not exactly restaurant trained) was totally entertained for 1.5+ hour lunches! Everything we tried was delicious, and service was typical of the Mexican hospitality. Our first time was for lunch on a Sunday, and while the other beachside restaurants were clearly chock-full of gringo types, El Brujo was full of Mexican families driven in from the cities enjoying their day of rest en famillia with big al fresco lunches and swims. It was a great sign to us that we were in the right place, after all the locals know where the best stuff is ;) I understand this is the second or third location of a (small) chain that started in PV-- whatever they are doing, hopefully they keep it up as our family look forward to an annual tradition of vacationing in Bucerias and dining at EB! read more

Went for dinner last night and couldn't have been more impressed. There's a variety of seating options. Indoors, outdoor on a balcony overlooking the ocean or directly on the beach. Our server was Daniel. He claimed it was his first day, however, you'd never guess. He was friendly and efficient, in tune with our needs without being intrusive. Top notch. With the great ocean view and excellent service, I'd have been willing to let the food slide a bit... But wow! I was with a group of 5. Everyone's meal looked incredible. My choice was the shrimp and octopus. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. Octopus can be difficult to get right and they nailed it. Even the side dishes of rice and salad were far beyond bland and exceeded my expectations. The price, based off a comparable meal in the USA, is more than fair. If you're in the area and have time for one meal, go here. The food, view and service make this a must try! read more

Food was good. First waiter that sat us was good. They transfer to a young waiter and he didn't attend well to us. He forgot things we order. Took plates away early. Not good service. We left a tip but he had the nerve to come back to us and asked why you tip me so little. He made everyone on the table extremely uncomfortable. Didn't want to make a scene but I do believe the young man didn't deserve the bigger tip he thought he deserve. Food was good but the experience was bad. read more

Went out for a family dinner and decided that we would eat at El Brujo. This was easily the best dinning experience we had this trip!! The food was fantastic and the whole staff was personal and very kind. The Mahi Mahi is garlic butter sauce was to die for! Outside of the food one of the best reasons to come here with your family if you have little children is that they actually have a mini day care in the restaurant and a young lady was there who stayed with the kids and played while we enjoyed our meal!! We had our 9 month old daughter and our 6 year old niece with us and they both were well looked after! Great place!! read more

A really good, reasonably priced, Mexican restaurant overlooking the beach in Bucerias. The same great food as at El Brujo, Puerto Vallarta, but the view and atmosphere is so much better here. Bring your bathing suit and beach towel and enjoy a swim between courses. The shrimp and fish dishes are particularly good, especially in this setting. This is a great spot for a relaxing afternoon, or a romantic dinner. read more

The service is okay but when a waiter thinks he has the right to confront a guest because he wants to force them to give him a bigger tip is always going to be unacceptable. Sometimes you don't get the tip you want or deserve and it's not because a guest doesn't want to like in our case, we forgot some cash at home and couldn't give the tip they wanted. The tip is optional not mandatory, only the bill is which we paid in full. By the waiter going outside to confront us at our car in front of our invited guest was a terrible experience and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, the food is Okay but definitely not putting up with aggressive waiters. read more
