Gorditas

I came for lunch here and had the chilaquiles with red sauce, fried egg, and carne asada. We also ordered gorditas and tacos. By far the faves were the chilaquiles and gorditas which I recommend.

El Borrego De Oro was disappointing. I had the green enchiladas and the chicken was flavorless and the beans tasted like refried beans you would get an a can. I went for lunch and it was nothing special. I will give them credit for the purple tortitas and the ambiance was on point. Probably won't be coming back again. My go to spot for green enchiladas remains maybe spots in Gwinnett county.

3lbs of barbacoa most of it was fat . We got there around 11:15 didn't leave til 11:45.We spent 70$ on this and it wasn't worth that much

3lbs of barbacoa wasn't worth 70$ most of it was fat . Wouldn't recommend getting this from the menu. The wait was like 25 mins to 30 .

I've given this place two opportunities because it is so close to my house. The customer service here is horrendous. Both times I came here staff would literally make eye contact with me and walk right past me while I was standing at the front waiting for a table. I don't mean some of the staff I mean all of the staff. If you are American, don't bother. Heurache Veloz is 1 minute up the street, hands down better.

I have to say, this is very good and authentic barbacoa, and when I say authentic I mean real lamb barbacoa consome and tacos, with handmade tortillas.

It is cute inside and the food is fine. Lacked that latin flavor profile. The tortillas were made in house and that's a plus

They nail the fusion concept perfectly bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and plenty of personality…read more The mini poke tacos are a standout: crisp shells filled with silky, flavorful tuna that tastes like summer in every bite. The Korean fried cauliflower is another hit crunchy, spicy, and addictive enough to make you forget you're eating a veggie dish. The tater tots with jalapeño cheese dip are so simple yet so good! creamy, cheesy, and with just the right kick of heat. I usually go for the Baja fish taco, and it never disappoints: perfectly fried fish, fresh slaw, and a tangy sauce that ties everything together. And let's not forget the margaritas always refreshing, delicious, and expertly balanced.

It can be a bit of a tight squeeze in the vintage building. Price wise, everything on the menu is reasonable. Plus, kids eat free on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal. While service can be inconsistent and parking can be difficult to find in peak times, here are some of the redeeming factors: - mini poke tacos: love these more than the variation Mac's carries on their menu. I will say they may use a hair too much aioli at times, but the marinated tuna is a win. - queso is always a win. Served with tortilla triangles and tortilla chips. - Shanghai shrimp salad with sriracha honey dressing is my go to lunch choice. - fried yuca as a side is the way to go! My favorite tacos: - gringo: perfect amount of sloppy and salty with the queso - pacific rim: ask for it in a lettuce wrap! - Korean fried cauliflower: sometimes served with a bit too much guac, but I love the rest of it! Agave marg is always a win. Made with fresh lime juice instead of sweet and sour mix.

It's just a normal girls' lunch to catch up and this place has good ambiance for a small get together. We got a nice booth by the window, love the high back of the booth, which allows me to be more relaxed =) We started with the Fuego Dip, which my friend highly recommends and she was spot on. The Fuego dips includes, steak, shrimp, chicken, and chorizo; serve along side pico and tortillas. The proteins were all cooked perfectly!! The cheese has amazing flavor from all the proteins, the pico was extremely fresh, the hot tortilla is a nice touch. Wish there were more tortillas though, but the chips they gave right when you sat down works too. I ordered the Steak Fajitas, I haven't had fajitas in a while and really wanted the sizzle. When the entree arrived, it smelled so amazing and I couldn't wait to dig into it. I'm not really sure if they make their own flour tortillas, but it was fresh and soft and warmed and absolutely delicious. The bed of peppers and onions on the bottom of the steak is nicely cooked and caramelized, the steak is super tender and flavorful. There were some queso left from our appetizer and I added some into my steak fajita which elevated it to another level!! Absolutely love the food and service is on point. Will definitely be back to try something else and for more of that Fuego Dip with that warmed tortilla.

The last several times have not been good and likely our last visit. We bring our neighborhood out for special occasions often. Including here many times. I called on Wednesday and spoke to two very nice females and scheduled a party for 10-15 people for Sunday night. She asked me to call back on Sunday once I had a firm number of people. Super nice. Called at 2:30pm on Sunday and let ring for 5 minutes. No answer. No problem. Thought we'd be fine. We arrive 15 minutes early to make sure everything was fine and our requested table was taken and they acted like I did something wrong and had no reservation. THE PLACE WAS DEAD. It still took thirty minutes to find a solution and seat us. My fiancé ordered drinks while we waited with ZERO PEOPLE AT THE BAR.....15 minutes to get drinks. Sat us in this back cubby spot. Awful. No one could move. Table was massive and super wobbly. No apologies. It took us BEGGING after AN HOUR to order our food. BEGGING. The food finally arrived and not one of us received a hot meal. It was all terrible. Our personal meals were horrendous. Carne asade and tapaquinia. Both TERRIBLE and the meat was like jerky. Nothing like we've had in the past there. The server (or anyone) looked incredibly annoyed if we asked for utensils, straws, napkins. You know, essentially what you would need to eat. I worked in service for years. I would have been thrilled if on a weekend night that was DEAD I got a party. Nope. Everyone just seemed annoyed. I've never seen this manager before but he just seemed to hate his job. Not once did he apologize. Not once did he try to make anything right. We all ate our cold orders and I don't think anyone sent food back. I'm sad for this place. I guess we will have to find something else.
