This shop is located on the second floor of a plaza and offers seating outside to wait if needed. About 10 minutes after our reservation time I was called in while my friend remained waiting. My haircut was about 3/4 done before he finally was called - it was about 45 minutes after our reservation time at that point. The haircuts themselves were decent and the location is clean but the long wait was a huge turn off. Also, there are better barber shops in the area that offer a hair wash, styling and massage for less than what they charge here for a basic cut. They shouldn't accept reservations if they can't honor the time.

I tried walking in and was told the wait would be 20 minutes, so instead I made an appointment and came back. The lady who cut my hair was very friendly and attentive to my needs. She was patient and checked in to make sure she was cutting the right length. Without asking for it, I also got a back massage, a hand massage, my nails clipped and a quick facial. The hot towels put me to sleep. Complimentary drink offered, but soda or water only. All this for around MXN 350 (about $17 US).

My barber was named Chris. The attention to detail: top notch. The experience included haircut with style line, beard trim, straight razor neck shave and behind the scalp for hairline, mini massage, manicure while getting my shave, hair wash to get all the loose hair out, then styled again afterwards, sugar scrub on hands, lotion afterward, beard balm, and the works. Absolutely spectacular experience. I would make the trip across the border again just to return here!
