two tacos on a picnic table

Perfect spot for some bomb a** tacos in Astoria. It's a little food truck with some picnic tables & a tiny indoor area for those rainy Oregon days. The man who took our order was extra friendly & the food came out quick. I'll most definitely be back. PS- cash only

Okay so the ambiance leaves much to be desired, but who cares when you are eating incredibly delicious tacos!! During my road trip from San Francisco, I've been fortunate to feast on many a fish taco. These were by far the best! Even the little corn tortillas were tasty. This little taco truck is a true diamond in the rough. At $1.75 a pop, the fish tacos are a steal. Tacos de pollo were $1.50 each. Great find!

This taco truck is a religious experience. We got the chicken burrito and taco platter. The seasoning was sublime. Highly recommend this place to any who likes food.

Asada burrito with pico de gallo and green and red sauces on the side. $8. Huge meal!

As a local, I've never been afraid of the taco bus at the old abandoned gas station by the Astoria roundabout. Tourists may be put off by its location, but that just means less of a line for us Coastals! Though I've never been when there wasn't at least 3 customers ahead of me, the wait is still only about 5 minutes to get your food. Amazing! They are so friendly and helpful when deciding what choice of menu items to get. Their green and red sauces are a must, with the red being the spicier of the two. But I found the star of the show to be the pico de gallo! Addictive! I ordered the Asada (beef) burrito, $8, and enjoyed every bite! Next time, I will order it without refried beans, just because I think it takes away from the steak flavor a bit. Burrito comes with: meat of choice, Mexican rice, refried beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and I had them add onion and cilantro at no cost. The burrito was huge and the tortilla was so soft and delicious! I wonder if they'll just sell me some of those tortillas to take home? With a vat of that pico de gallo too, please!! I can also say that I've tried their spicy pork tacos, beef tacos, beef tongue tacos, beef tortas, and quesadillas and have been happy with all of it! Tacos are $2.50 each. They have indoor seating and covered outdoor picnic tables, or you can wait in your car for your order. Bottled sodas and pictures of their menu items that help in the ordering process.

Everyone knows that the best food comes from food trucks these days and this truck is no exception. We had a great meal with a variety of tacos and burritos with Mexican Cokes in the bottle. The cook is a super friendly young man who obviously cares about the food he makes. The presentation was perfect, as evidenced by the pictures below and the taste was even better. I plan to eat here again before leaving the area. Finally, the cook had a connection to the Detroit area, having lived there 10 yesterday ago. Let me sum it up... THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!

This was so good! I got the veggie burrito and it was delish and big. We also got a steak burrito and taco platter and $5 bean and cheese burritos of the kids. Yummy, thank you! Very friendly!

Hands down the best Mexican food in Clatsop County. This food is cooked with love, and it's so delicious. Don't miss the sopes.

I love the beef tacos!! Staff are friendly. Wish it cost a little cheaper but it's worth it. I haven't had a long wait time for my food.

Amazing every time. Hard working family, well priced quality food. Best Mexican food in town. Try the torta or the burrito with spicy beef!

It is a truck but also the best Mexican food on the North Coast. The owners/family are very kind and genuine. Cheap, delicious, fast.

The best chicken tacos I've had anywhere. Burrito was good too. Very friendly. Right next to Finni's Italian food truck.

My cousin and I stopped by this food cart after walking around the Astoria Sunday Market…read more It took 46 minutes to receive our orders after paying, and I'm pretty sure that's due to the staff being extremely stoned, but we forgave this as soon as we bit into our burgers. My cousin ordered the Oklahoma Double Smashburger, and I ordered the Bacon Black and Blue. I thought I had ordered a double, and she thought she had ordered a single, so we ended up moving one patty from her burger to mine. I was really, really hungry. I devoured my burger and fries. I was a little disappointed that fries were the only potential side (all burgers automatically come with fries), but, given how much trouble the staff had keeping orders straight, maybe they don't need to be adding menu items. The Oklahoma was the first decent Oklahoma smashburger I've found anywhere. Both of our burgers were true smashburgers, with caramelized patties. My cousin's had a lot of mustard and onions, while mine had bacon and blue cheese. I didn't love the amount of bacon and blue cheese. It's not my new favorite blue cheese burger of all time-- a spot still held by Gott's in California. But it was really, really good. Good enough to make us forget how annoyed we were at waiting 46 minutes for two burgers. The toppings were all fresh. The bacon and blue cheese were both top quality, although I wished there was a little more of each. The smashburger had really good flavor, but was on the lighter side as far as smashburger patties go. The cart was in a little food cart plaza with about ten carts surrounding a beer tap hall. The vibes were slightly more classy, beach like, and romantic as opposed to other food cart malls. Our burgers were about $18 each, which was definitely on the higher side, but that's what it's like ordering from a bougie food cart by the sea. We carried our burgers down to the alley with murals behind Pine Street Market for amazing photo ops on our way down to the ocean.
