The thing is, we discovered they broke the contract when they didn`t put the color of gutters on our house that were stated by them in the original contract. We didn`t know they had messed up because the color we recieved is what we assumed was the one we chose and the one stated in the contract. Without showing us color samples there was no way for us to know this wasn`t the case. This past spring the gutters and filters they chose for us, even after we explained why we disagreed with their choice for both, didn`t do the job adequately. The rains flooded our patios and ran down our screens and into our porch. They company finally replaced the gutter for 6" and gave us new filters mid-summer but the gutters are not the prior color from 2024. It seems they are the color stated in the original contract that we signed. The workmen noticed the color change and questioned it. We didn`t realize the first color wasn`t the color we had chosen so were as confused and those working on the project. The company is expecting us to pay for the difference in price of the larger gutters and new filters, and keep the color we didn`t select even though they are the ones who called all the shots and didn`t do as we asked from the very beginning. Again, we want it known, the installers and office personnel have done a fantastic job! No complaints from us where they are concerned.It is the man in a higher up position of manager that is the problem.

I got my first statement a week or so ago and it shows an 8.99% interest rate. I've been trying to get this changed for almost 2 weeks now! At least 8 phone calls including 3 calls to the finance manager Joel. Every time, I've been told they are working to get it changed and someone will get back to me in the next day or two. My first payment is due today. If I make the payment I'm afraid they will then say "Well, you make a payment at 8.99% interest so it's locked in and we can't change it now." Makes you wonder if they do this regularly?

After a short phone call and some measurements, Mike was able to lay out a timeline of what he needed to do to order the glass, drive the distance to Havana, and install the new safety glass. This was a 3-way repair order that originated in St. Louis, to Mike in Metamora, Illinois, and finished up a week later in Havana, Illinois, and everything went very well without a hitch! I cannot recommend Renewal by Andersen of Central Illinois…read more We purchased a front door and a sliding door from them. The measuring team came out twice to measure and still got it wrong. The installers were at our house for nearly 12 hours on a March day. They finished around 10pm in dark and the cold. The installers are the only 5 star review I will give. They had to cut the frame to install the sliding door and did a great job keeping our house clean and putting the frame back in the door. My husband and I are both unhappy with the look of the front door. It does not look like the computer rendering. Had we been able to see this door in person, we never would have chosen it. The frame around the door windows sticks out too far and looks obtrusive. Every nail head is visible. This is a very expensive door but looks cheap. The door we were shown was sleek looking with windows being flush with the door, there were no protruding frames on the computer rendering. I completed a customer service survey and asked for someone to read out to me and spoke to Stephen Burke, or sales rep and never heard back from anyone. I would not recommend using Stephen Burke and he is unresponsive after he makes his sale. This was an expensive project. We chose Renewal by Andersen because we thought they were a reputable company with high quality products and good customer service. Unfortunately, that is not our experience. I would like to reiterate that we are happy with the sliding door and that our install team was excellent. Had Renewal tried to contact us and listen to our concerns and offer some solution, I would not be writing this review. It's a shame that some large companies feel they can ignore their customers.

The main reason why I went with Pella is because they completely removed the old windows (original to the house, 50 year old aluminum windows) to install the new ones. The men who worked on the house were wonderful, kind, and cleaned up well after each day. I can already tell that this winter is going to be much better and more cozy with the new windows. :) Pella also replaced the trim and it is beautiful work. I'm very pleased and impressed. They did make a mistake when ordering the kitchen window - somehow the wrong size got ordered and delivered. But mistakes happen to everybody and it was handled professionally.
