Now after…read morehaving a completely ridiculous experience I now feel that this shop was just trying to scam me and run away with a quick and easy buck. I took my Nissan Titan in as it had intermittent issues with the transmission disengaging starting out from a complete stop, A/T check light blinks on and off, goes off, then the check engine light comes on and stays on. I pull over, put it in park, turn the engine off, start it back up, and drive off like nothing happened. The transmission shifts and operates normally. I drive it easy for a month or two, check engine light goes off and its fine until the next time it happens. I took it to useless excuse for a shop. They worked on it all day. They called me up and told me I need a whole new transmission and a remanufactured transmission would cost $7500 and a used would be $3500. I asked how much to repair it, and was told also about $3500. I immediately started looking around online, and found used transmissions for under $800 with free shipping and remanufactured engines are typically about $2800 for 1st generation Titan 2WD. The code that was showing from the check engine light was a solenoid error - P1767 which is part of the valve body. To replace the valve body, its just under the transmission pan and valued at about 1-2 hours labor. A remanufactured valve body is about $250. A new one is about $1800-$2300. None of the actual numbers I found remotely matched up to what I was told... who ended up being the manager of the transmission part of the shop. I then took it to another shop who looked up the code, and told me that its most likely an electrical issue due to the nature of the problem. They also pretty much confirmed all the prices that I looked up and found. Bottom line is, DONT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP - THEY ARE CRIMINALS! P.S. The check engine light went off today and stayed off...

They're very busy. The girl in the office was so nice and honest and said "thanks for trusting us!" Which really rubbed me the right way. They even shared that our front brakes have 40% left. They accept Zelle, cash or card (4% fee). Dropped off at 830 got my car back at 12, but they were done at 10:11. They even text and send you the paperwork by text. Def recommend and will be back. They're in a row of shops. Off the street you turn in where Dash is. There isn't much parking so anticipate that when you go.

I finally gave up and threw in the towel and decided to take it in. I dropped my vehicle off Tuesday afternoon, they got on it Wednesday and by Wednesday afternoon they found the problem. They were even kind enough to work with me and held it until Saturday I did like the fact that when I mentioned that I only needed to know what' the issue was they weren't pushy or insisting they fix the problem, they were even kind enough to tell me what part number and brand I should purchase, and why I shouldn't use anything else. Extremely disappointing experience. My mom brought her car here specifically to have the A/C…read morerepaired and paid for the service. When she got the car back, the A/C still did not work. She returned to the shop expecting them to correct the issue since she had already paid to have it fixed. Instead, she was told that she could not receive a refund and would need to pay for an additional service to actually fix the A/C. When she understandably asked why the problem wasn't fixed the first time, despite already paying for the repair, she was told that "the car has to be ran longer, about an hour." That explanation made very little sense considering the vehicle had been brought in specifically because the A/C wasn't working. At that point, she chose to leave rather than pay them again for an issue she had already paid them to repair. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this shop. If a customer pays to have a specific problem fixed and the problem remains, the appropriate response should be to stand behind the work and make it right--not ask the customer for more money.

A good mechanic is hard to find…read more.. It's a service that goes through referrals before searching on Yelp. It comes down to trust. Trust that the mechanic knows more than you and will diagnose and fix what actually need, not what they want to do. Martin is that guy. He will give you the truth, not push you to act and charge you fairly. We used to travel almost an hour to our mechanic and now this is much closer. You may not know me personally and that's okay. But I care about value and quality and I'm switching over to Martin taking my cars there now. Let me also add that his communication with me BEFORE I became a customer was excellent. It says a lot about him as a person. Even if you're not in the area, it'd worth the drive. Just set an appointment ahead of time and you'll be more than satisfied with the service!
