This place is really good. They have almost perfect food. They have a giant playground for kids to play on and the service gives kids posters to draw and sometimes they even put them up so great service and there's not a lot of bad people at either or from what I've experienced and a lot of the kids don't get bullied and it's just a fun place to go. Also, there's a side section for kids to run on and you can just hop the fence then you had a soccer field or they don't pop the fence. read more

Last night was our first visit to Either-Or. We were looking for something new. When we arrived, parking was in the overflow so we thought we'd be looking at a very long wait. I went in ahead to check and I'll be honest that I almost left because it seemed like they were slammed at the check-in desk; handling calls, and it took a bit to deal with the customer ahead of me... I have no idea why or what was going on with that person, but to my surprise they sat us immediately! I called my partner in on the way to the table. To start, the place is huge! So, don't be scared off by what the parking looks like, haha. It's a somewhat industrial facility: big garage doors leading to the patio, which is cool, and we'd like to hang out there sometime at the fire pits; I think there's a playground out there too? Haha. Yet, somehow, they've made it quite cute and comfortable in the interior too. The deco is very my vibe. The cocktails were made well. Big plus, for me. My bartender partner tried them, and didn't have any critiques. Win. We ordered the trout rilette for our appetizer and it was delicious! I got the seared salmon and my partner ordered a burger (though I can't remember which). The seared salmon was good and the cauliflower base was an unexpected, delicious pair along with the Brussels sprouts. The young woman who was our server was so nice, too. She gets five stars also. Every single server ever asks how the food is while you're chewing a bite, so no worries there, lol. She was checking in at a balanced amount, and ushered plates off so we were weren't piled up. Return visit to either or this time for brunch. Good brunch options available. Assuming you can even order mimosas/bloody Mary's as I saw a few attendance order these during our stay. Went for a couple, savory brunch options, both included gravy and eggs making the images look very similar, differing and taste. Cold brew was excellent however bummed that their signage indicated that you only get 12 ounces of cold brew over ice with no refills. The space is really done well. The patio and outdoor play area is easy and relaxed. The interior decor has a cool vintage feel without being overdone. They have a great selection of beers. Either-Or should be renamed Neither-Nor. I ate there earlier this week and was treated to a dish of explosive D. Ambiance is completely drab and must be a tribute to the late Chairman Mao. The dishware is cheap crap and the barware has to be items obtained from several yard sales or bankrupt bars. The servers appeared as if their alarm didn't go off and threw on whatever was on the floor. The prices are overpriced. Lincoln had a better time at Ford's Theatre than I did at Neither-Nor. read more

While the food is OK (nothing special), Either/Or engages in several ways to rip-off the customer - 1) the lunch menu includes 2 sides, while the dinner menu includes 1 side, which seems counter-intuitive - the lunch salad was billed as an additional $1 - I asked the server and she was not aware of this - I asked if this was stated on the menu - after asking the manager, she told me it was; 2) the lunch was severed with a very small sandwich and a large portion of french fries, so the main attraction of the meal was very small; 3) the bill came with a 3% service charge for using a credit card, a higher fee than many other restaurants. Ok let me explain my reasons for this review... went with my gfs to try this place. Super cute very friendly staff! I loved the indoor outdoor vibe and cocktail menu was GREAT! Food was mediocre, fries were cold but I'm not going to complain to the server as he was pretty slammed. At the end of our meal my friend asked about a specific charge that I did not notice on the bill.... (They have those handheld machines that take your card and I didn't really pay attention I just paid) anywho! There is a charge that goes to the kitchen. As a server/ customer service professional I was a bit taken aback. I'm more than happy to tip my server not an extra charge to the kitchen. Especially when it's not well advertised that's what's going on your bill. I'll go back to have drinks but I'll skip the food...and the extra charge. Please pay your chefs enough, we're already paying for the cost of the food and service. read more

3 We were so excited to finally try E/O since we are big Lua fans. Great ambiance and patio! Mexican cheese curds were great. E/O Chicken Sandwich was also pretty good. The fries were equally as good as Lua's. Our kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and grilled cheese. Service was friendly but lacking. I had to ask for my initial soda 3 times before it finally showed up. Our server never returned after our entrees were delivered by a food-runner. We had to eat our meals with zero drinks/refills. I would be understanding if she was running around busy waiting other tables but she literally stood and talked to a couple seated a few tables away the entire time we ate our entrees. We sat waiting to pay for at least 15mins after we had finished eating and we all left very thirsty. Bummer. read more
