In the midst of cobblery Zurich is a hole in the wall. I passed over this restaurant twice before…read morefinding it. The prices are decent and the food appeared yummy as it was being made. A "chill" atmosphere surrounded the restaurant, as one would expect in the area. It took some time for the food to be prepared. The seating was extremely limited which forced parties greater than three to sit separately. A positive was that the cashier brought the food out to diners instead of calling a number. My party ordered a Pomodoro penne, Arrabbiata penne(recommended), and a margarita pizza. As I took my first bite of the Arrabbiata, I had a Ratatouille moment. This was the same type of pasta I got at home! Normally I wouldn't be happy paying so much for a pasta I could get at home, but considering Switzerland isn't exactly a foodie place, I was excited to get good tasting food. The Arrabbiata was definitely a highlight. The margherita pizza was good and the pomodoro was decent. The food made me happy enough to get an ice cream from the location instead of going elsewhere. The ice cream was a minor step-up above normal ice creams I've had in the area. Considering the prices: Food- 5/5 Service- 4/5 Ambiance- 4/5 As often happens, dining isn't only about the taste of food. The Food experience should also make one happy. A rounding of the different factors would make this a 4/5, however, it is appropriate to round this location up and give it 5 stars in relationship to its price

Perfect little outside venue. Selection is ok but perfect ending after a great dinner in Zurich. I…read morehad the mango/passionfruit on

Love, love, love the Raclette Factory…read more Really wanted to have another Raclette experience while in Switzerland. The first was in Lucerne and we loved it! Walked to the Raclette Factory from our hotel. Sat at a community table with a family from Argentina. They were so sweet. Their eleven year old was so animated and his parents were the sweetest. Fun to talk to them about travel, our mutual love of rollercoasters and science and the recent World Cup. The son loves Lamine Yamal. The dad is Team Messi. Our waiter, Flavio, made the evening our best choice. We really wanted to try a lot of different cheese flavors and combinations, so we had the Raclette All You Can Eat. Choose a couple of cheeses. Plain. Smoke. Garlic. Chili. White Wine. Red Wine. Blue cheese. Goat. Sheep. Truffle. Add toppings. It comes with pickles and pearl onions. Pickles and melted Raclette cheese. Unbelievably delicious. Add more toppings. Small potatoes, bread or mashed potatoes. So good! Started with the truffle and the red wine with the works, potatoes, mashed potatoes and cubes of bread. The truffle was my favorite of the cheeses and both the mashed potatoes and small potatoes were delicious. I think at the end we tried all of the cheeses but the original. We were stuffed!! Thank you to Flavio who really made our experience at the Raclette Factory a highlight of our visit to Zurich. Service was amazing and he gave us great recommendations. Definitely a night to remember.

Food was good and so was the service. Our waitress helped us through the menu, which was very…read morehelpful because we had no idea what Raclette actually was, or how to order it! Raclette is a dish of melted cheese over potatoes or bread. Which is very good, just extremely rich! I'm from Wisconsin, so I'm all about cheese, but this was a lot! The prices are very high for what you are actually eating, and we almost order the 'all you can eat" option, because it seemed like a good deal. So glad we didn't, because I would have had a tough time trying to eat another pile of melted cheese! We did order the "world best" garlic bread, which was good, but only average... not the world's best!
