We love going here! They have a room you can rent for events. They offer a discount for Hillsboro…read moreresidents. We've used it a couple times during the summer. Smooth process. The gym and pool are great! You'll need to check the schedule for recreation swimming times as they have classes going on at certain times of the day/week. Plenty of lifeguards around making sure everyone is being safe. It's an awesome place to have the kiddos burn off excess energy! They have two warm pools inside and an outdoor pool that is also heated. The smaller pool has a neat looking waterfall mushroom (see photo) The larger one inside has a water slide! The outdoor pool has 1 or two smaller slides for kiddos. I have yet to order anything but they do have a small snack bar in the lobby. I know they offer popcorn as I can smell it some days. Def recommend!

It would be awesome if they had a yoga class at 9:00 am they only have it at 8:ooam or once a week on Tuesday at 8:00pm would be better if it was at least twice a week. They have paper print out of class schedules and online but it is not user friendly would be helpful if there was just a way to upload it into a google calendar or something or maybe an app. All other members are very thoughtful and wipe down the equipment. It has become more crowded which means the parking is touch and go!

Staff is great however the facility isn't really handicap accessible. They have one handicap stall…read morein the changing room. They only have one changing room for men and women have to share, which makes it a little tight and no way we can keep 6 feet distance . I really love being able to get my client out to the pool but at the same time is it safe ? The one handicap stall is being used by people that are not handicapped. I said something to Matt and he basically said thats just how it is right now and that everyone has the right to use the handicapped stall. What about the right to a real handicapped person ? And why are men and women having to share space ? That's weird is it because you only want to sanitize one area? Another thing I dislike is that people are not wearing masks in changing areas. We really like the people there everyone is great but I have to put my client first and really think about this. I'm not sure what happened to Chris but he was so helpful and accommodating sure wish he was still there.

Racist environment! They don't respect Hispanic dancers!! Managers are unable to equitably mitigate…read morescheduling errors and will opt to let the white group stay and let Hispanic dancer leaves in tears. They also allow group leaders to treat paying members in a rude faction sort of like they are entitled. Also, when you point out on the phone that they mishandled the scheduling error, and you make the comment so much for equity and inclusion they hang up on you. Isn't that just how it is when you point out the inequity, they shut you down. So much for fairness and justice for the individual.

We are on a summer nudist resort trip. Our first nudist stop in Oregon was Mountaindale Sun Resort…read more(MSR) outside of Portland. This small resort is located in the mountains. They warn everyone that there is a pretty steep 12 degree grade/incline on the entry road so anyone pulling an RV use caution. But once up there, the setting is gorgeously wooded & rustic. It's very tranquil...it feels like a retreat! The resort doesn't have hotels/rooms/cabins (called "bunkies" in the NW) for rent. They recently did get an RV they rent out and may get more options in the future. There are several areas to tent (no elec or water) and plentiful RV spots. We were lucky that we were friends with a member and were invited to stay at her place. It felt like we were sleeping in a tree house the way it was nestled into the mountain. The resort has a clean large pool, an indoor hot tub, sauna, sports court, rec hall, and a gaming room with ping pong and billiards pool tables. People were reading and relaxing in the outside common areas, scattered between the shaded tree-lined perimeter and the colorful gardens. Bathrooms and shower areas were large & clean. There was a laundry area but we didn't notice a common kitchen area for guest use like the other resorts we've been to so far. They did have a few snacks & ice cream for sale, as well as a little "merch" area. The crown jewel of this resort is their trails! They have many volunteers who maintain them. They are very proud of them...as they should be. The entire resort is run via a co-op of volunteers, and most work gets done by the members. The "host" (front desk guy) was very helpful. We arrived the day of their annual board meeting so we felt lucky to meet so many of the "movers & shakers" there - especially a few of the board members! The day included a small local band & a BBQ dinner. The newly renovated rec hall made for a great place for the dinner & social area. We made new friends who invited us for drinks & dessert (and fabulous conversation) that night. It was a great day. MSR is trying to amp up their marketing & activities to boost interest and memberships. A newer event, Sports Fest, had concluded a couple weeks before we arrived & was a huge success. It offered something for everyone - from pickleball clinics & tourneys to a fun poker run through the woods. Bummed we missed it but it'll be an annual event. Check it out if you're on this side of the country next July! They used to have a Trail Run challenge up the mountain side & are discussing bringing it back. A few other things to know: *It's clothing optional except in the pool & hot tub. Most everyone was nude while we were there. *There is a strict no photo policy (stickers are provided/required over your phone cameras). We did get permission from leadership to take these photos and help spread the word about this beautiful resort. *Rates are affordable. *No cell phone service there but WiFi worked well. The resort's motto is "Just Wear A Smile". This & other cute signs were posted to help encourage nudity. It is a good deal colder, especially in the evenings, than FL where we are from so of course there's a bit more leeway (and necessity) regarding clothes. We loved the vibe & the people at MSR & will definitely be back!

One of the nicest clothing optional parks we have ever found. It has been around for a long time…read morebut not well known. IT SHOULD BE THOUGH. Camping and rv sites plentiful. A few overnight accommodations. Hiking trails plentiful through a beautiful wooded 104 acre location. Club house with plenty of events, games and activities available. Pickleball, bocci court and other outdoor activities plentiful. Heated seasonal pool, sauna, indoor beautiful all season hot tub. Monthly special events going on regularly. This is NOT a heavy party environment but more of a truly easy going relaxed community who enjoy good company in a non judgmental place providing a safe, friendly place to enjoy a clothing optional experience. They offer day use for non members that is priced affordably.

I'm not really rating Cascade AC on the whole in this review but rather their policy or lack…read morethereof. I enjoy swimming and Cascade has the best pool in the area so participation here is a matter of limited selection. My problem is the lack of policy/signs/refereeing something that keeps inconsiderate lane swimmers in line. Cascade has no posted policy or signs that direct how people should behave when there are others waiting for a lane. Since there are numerous older adults that seem to have developed blindness because they don't 'see' people waiting nor do they ask anyone. Instead, they see someone getting out of the pool and head directly to the lane that just opened up simply not caring that others are waiting. Most people seem to want to avoid conflict so nothing gets said empowering those who are already feel privileged enough to just jump in. Then there's me. I will say something and I might not be nice about it because your rudeness put you in my path. So, lane cutters if you can't turn to those waiting and ask then expect to get called out or for me to jump in 'your' lane. I simply won't stand for your rude behavior or whatever excuse you have for being like you are. As for Cascade - this on you. You have no policy, no guidance and no monitoring leaving us adults to police themselves. Fortunately, most do an exceptional job of policing themselves and have decency and courtesy. However, there are some that don't possess decency and probably have limited self-control when confronted about their behavior that could lead to an altercation between parties. If this were to happen to me you can bet that I would seeing you in court... And, while you are pondering this matter please scrub the pool! It's filthy. The walls and floor of the pool are coated in brown slime that cause slip when trying to push off. P.S. this also applies to those that are in a lane and invite someone that just shows up to join them instead of the next person in line as it should be. Friends don't get a free pass to the head of the line.

The recent upgrades and ongoing maintenance make for a comfortable and enjoyable experience…read more Staff friendliness is at a high level and rate this club as a safe place for all.
