The park's 2.8‑mile trail winds through a mix of dense forest and sunlit meadows along the East Fork Lewis River, giving you moments of peaceful reflection and wide-open breathing room. We decided to spend our time taking Halloween photos all over the park. While enjoying ourselves, it was great inspiration. There is something grounding about the tall Douglas firs and the hum of the river nearby. I found a quiet spot on one of the gravel paths, sat down for a bit, and just watched as the river ran. Apparently it's not just a walking park, either..there are places to picnic, horseshoe pits, and even a small boat launch if you want to get out on the water. There are lots of picnic tables and covered shelters too, perfect for a family gathering or a chill afternoon with friends. I heard on warm days, people swim here..though heads up, there are no lifeguards and the river currents can be strong. Parking is simple, though there's a daily fee (around $3 for a car). If you come here often, the annual pass is a pretty good deal. If you're craving a place to get away from the city, stretch your legs, or just be near water and trees, Lewisville Regional Park is the perffffect place. We took the loop trail, about 3 miles around the park, into the forest and along the river. There are multiple large grassy areas, play areas, and courts. The pavilions are superb. They are fully equipped, including a water source and fire pit, and are spread out throughout the acreage. The trail was great as well. The paths are very wide and well maintained, a dog walkers paradise. I was also impressed with the amount of trash cans, no excuse for litter in this park. There was a very small thing that really impressed me, hadn't seen it before...a container near the waters edge to place used fishing line. Would love to see those more often! The ONLY negative experience we had was trying to get in. Neither of the parking pass machines were working well and consistently. It took us about 10 tries to get a ticket. After multiple swipes of the credit card and attempts with some bills, we finally got one. And it wasn't us, we had a long line behind us and multiple people out trying to get them to work. When we left the park we noticed the same traffic jam...they definitely need addressed! As frustrating as the parking machines were, the park made up for it. Fabulous place to spend an afternoon!

The complex has 2 grass fields and 3 turf fields. Turf fields double as soccer fields and baseball diamonds, (not my favorite) The entire complex is ran by the county, so when it rains they tend to cancel games on the grass fields to quickly. Grass fields are still in great shape and play very well. Plenty of bleacher seating and it's all protected with a huge netting system above your head for safety. The complex operates a very clean concessions stand. Clean restrooms, both located dead center of the fields. Huge play structure for the younger kids not yet playing sports. 2 parking areas, but parking is still tight on game days.

The parking is plentiful and the area is immaculate! There's picnic tables, a small playground, and restrooms. My favorite is the little wooded walking trail that I can take my dog for a walk through. Daily you can find little league teams practicing or playing games, people meeting up for impromptu games, or people just enjoying the area. One note is that it can get very busy on the weekends when several games are going on. Sometimes the parking does spill over into our neighborhood, which isn't usually a problem - people seem polite about it overall. This has been a great addition to the neighborhood and I'm glad to live so close to it!

It's a private tunnel with an easily operated machine that was great for my 6 year old. Even he was able to work the machine so we could take turns batting. They have equipment there, though it is always best to train with what you use. But if you just wanna knock some balls around they have everything you need! The guy was super friendly and walked me through everything, and then it was just me and my kid pretending like we were Babe Ruth. I slowed the machine down and gave it an arch so my kid could practice catching as well! They use soft balls for the little guys, or hard balls if you're feeling froggy. We used the soft ones as he is six and learning. Definitely going to be coming back again. Might make it a monthly treat, and definitely going to talk to our coach about it. I think it's be fun to get the whole team here and run through some batting drills.

We have lived down the road from here for some years. We have had a handful of birthday parties at…read morethe pavilion. The pavilion is first come first serve. I was there today and it looks like someone removed one of the tables/benches (typically total of 6 tables). I take our dogs to the dog park at times. Clean, friendly dogs, and spacious for the fur babies to run freely. The playground they have available for the kids is perfect, (refer to photos). There was a time about 3 months ago I noticed a car had its window smashed in. So be careful and be sure to keep your valuables at home. There are two parking lots, one on each side of the dog park area. It typically is a safe neighborhood. They also have a skatepark, and a back-to-back basketball (two hoop) court along side it. Baseball field too, just on the other side of the park, and short forest trails. I give it 5 stars because it's a great park, and has all of these amenities to take part in at the same time all in one place. Typically parks, walking trails, skateparks, baseball fields, pavilion areas, and dog parks are completely separated by location; which is why I find this park to be so unique. They also have bathrooms, both next to the baseball field and the other near the park/pavilion.I love that it's just down the road from my house, my family and I have created so many memories over the years.

It has been necessary for me to make sure that the puppy gets her exercise and we have been taking many walks. I have noticed that this park is less than a half mile away. There were a lot of wasps around when we visited, and we discovered what appeared to be a wasp or bee nest hidden inside the zip line equipment. That's a serious safety hazard, especially for young children, who could easily put their hands near it and get stung. Until the park is properly maintained and the insect issue is addressed, I would not recommend bringing children here. Someone could get seriously hurt if this isn't taken care of soon.

There's a small parking lot and usually plenty of on street parking if you're driving here, and Multnomah Village is just over the hill. And it's all free.
