Chances are, the person is already there or will show up within the next ten minutes. In the summer, the terrace is about as sought-after as a shady spot in the Sahara. Inside, a cozy twilight prevails, making everyone automatically seem more attractive and every story automatically more believable. The food is dangerously good. You come in for a drink and suddenly leave the place with a full stomach and three new acquaintances. If you haven't reserved a table, you'll either have to be patient or perform acrobatics between the already occupied chairs. After all these years, Backstage is still packed. In the restaurant business, that's about as impressive as a Nokia cell phone surviving a nuclear war. Highly recommended. If you can get a seat.

The place isn't that big but it offers seating for up to 6-8 people, probably more could fit if you move the tables around.
