As for the tiramisu, it was unlike any tiramisu I have ever had, as the texture was more a resemblance of a soft sponge cake. I do not mean this in a bad way either, strong balance of coffee and cake, easily could've had another piece honestly. I cannot comment on any savory dishes, but the sweets were worth it alone! I chose the most delicious, flavorful, creamy pomegranate with a sweet syrupy fruit drizzle. It was vegan too! Unreal! It was piled high on a crispy fresh waffle cone and it totally had me "oohing" & "ahh-ing". The kiddos had pistachio and stracciatella, and equally enjoyed theirs. It was a tad more expensive here than we had been used to, but still VERY reasonable. The signature logo stamped cookie to top is extra. The joint is cash only. What really made this simple take-out only (with the exception of two high tops in the corners) place stand out, was the super friendly sweet girls behind the counter. Both absolute dolls! We were there perhaps 45 minutes on a Saturday at lunchtime, and it never stopped being busy. I'm no expert on strudel, but I can say our strudels were crunchy on the outside and generally satisfying. We thought we'd ordered too much and we still polished it all off. I especially enjoyed our custard dessert strudel - creamy and yummy, without being heavy at all!
