Why hasn't there been a review yet?? It seems ridiculous that this place hasn't garnered at least a…read moremicro following on Yelp. Well, here I go!! First thing to know: this place is a sandwich shop by day, cocktail lounge by night. Second thing to know: make sure you REALLY love meat. The deli: I honestly don't know what to say...but I will anyway! First off, they offer about 12 regular sandwiches, half of them hot and half of them cold. They also have specials and make your owns. Keep in mind that all sandwiches can be hot (or cold I'm guessing!). One thing is that most sandwiches have minimal veg ingredients but it's definitely worth it. Staff-wise, all the guys (and yes they were all men when I visited) were really nice and helpful. Definitely ask their thoughts if you can't decide!! On my visit, I ordered their spin on a Cuban and...daaang! The sandwich weighed AT LEAST 2 lbs!!! What's more, it was mostly meat! This is the first sandwich that I have enjoyed an appropriate bread to meat ratio. I mean this thing was severely pregnant with meat! Whew! Honestly, I probably could have saved half of it for lunch but it was so good that I ate all of it. In a separate visit, the cocktail lounge was very posh in an old school speakeasy jazz club type of way. All of the menus are glued to actual books (is that legal??) and they have a great cocktail list. Their chocolate cake is excellent as well! The room is divided into a music room and the bar area. You can still see the music but it was nice to be divided if you wanted to talk vs listen to music. Overall: the sandwich will hold you over for a week (or at least the day!) and the cocktails are great!

The barkeep was far more interested in her conversations with her friends at the bar than me. I asked for a deli menu and never got one. My old fashioned had far too much bitters. Like, far too much. I had to be really assertive to get the tab she was so focused in her friends. This place seems cool, but unless you are "in" with the 'keep, not much to be said.

I was given vague instructions on how to find it by my hotel shuttle driver, and all I'll say is, when you see an ATM, you'll know you're in the right place. Inside it's a dimly lit dive bar, but much cleaner than your typical dive and with plenty of seating. Everything is $5, from the drinks to the only food item on the menu (chili mac) to their T-shirts. We got a few drinks each, which were nothing fancy, but they're also $5. This isn't the place to get a sex on the beach or a martini, but if all you want is a beer or a rum and coke, it does the job. We sat at the bar and had a nice chat with the bartender, who is also one of the co-owners. After a couple of hours, I was getting hungry and decided to try the chili mac. It came piping hot, probably from the microwave, and was decent. It's more of a soupy chili than the mac and cheese that I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it. There was a steady stream of older college-aged kids coming in while we were there, and they all seemed like regulars. The place has a nice, chill vibe to it, and we could see ourselves being regulars too if we lived in the area. If you want to drink where the locals drink, come here for a no-frills neighborhood bar with a little extra fun on the way.

You think the vibe would be more fun for a speakeasy but we came on NYE night around 8 and it was super dead and the lights were too bright for the vibe. Not my favorite but worth a stop for one drink if you can find it!

It has a lot of metal heads on any given night, and usually hosts events like football games or DJs occasionally throughout the week. Thursday nights are PBR Night ($1 draft and $2 pitchers) so it's probably the most consistently busy night. If you're looking for a place to just relax and drink, this is the place. It's a traditional no-frills bar. The only negatives I can think of are that brutal staircase to the bathroom, but the flip side to that is the bathrooms are more private than most establishments.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, a friend and I stopped by Three Needs around 1:00 a.m. We ordered…read moredrinks and planned to grab some pizza before heading home. As we were leaving, my friend told me that the bartender had called him a "Nazi" and a "racist" because of the shirt he was wearing. It was simply a black shirt that said "Happy 250 Years" with an American flag behind the text. I turned around to ask why she felt that way. Before I could even finish speaking, she immediately became confrontational. I asked how his shirt made him a racist or a Nazi, especially considering he's friends with me, a Hispanic male. Instead of having a conversation, she told me to leave, took the beer that I had already paid for, and refused to let me finish it. She then called over a bouncer and, from my perspective, falsely told him that I had said, "You don't have any colored friends." I never made that statement and immediately told the bouncer it wasn't true. The one positive part of the experience was the bouncer. He remained calm, listened to both sides, and professionally de-escalated the situation. I handed him my beer and left peacefully. It's unfortunate because the rest of our Fourth of July was great, and this was a disappointing way to end the night. I used to enjoy going to Three Needs, but after being treated this way and seeing my friend labeled with such serious accusations over a T-shirt, I won't be returning. I hope management takes the time to look into what happened that night, because no customer should be treated this way for simply asking a question or wearing a shirt celebrating the Fourth of July. After we left and were standing outside, several other customers came over to us and apologized for what had happened. They also told us that, in their experience, this bartender has a reputation for treating customers this way. Whether that's accurate is for management to determine, but based on my own experience that night, I was extremely disappointed.

There are a lot of things that I like about Orlando's when compared to other local bars…read more 1. Their mixed drinks are made consistently well. Many bars in the area pour especially strong or especially weak drinks that are not consistent, and that can make it hard to keep track of how much you're drinking. At Orlando's, the strength of my mixed drinks remains the same each time. The bartenders are professional, knowledgeable, and swift. 2. Their cocktail offerings are fun! They do some unique offerings with fun seasonal stuff that really gets you in the spirit of the season. Some other reviews mention that they don't have an extensive wine list-- it's not really that type of place. It's sort of like a classy pub, not a high end hotel bar. Expect to find cool cocktails and a moderate beer selection. 3. The vibes are cool! It's very speakeasy-underground-cool vibes. It's dark inside with old fashioned lamps and various types of seating, both at the bar and at tables. Some tables have old fashioned bar games at them like ring and hook. They have a stage for live music and a small space for dancing. I will say the one downside of Orlando's is that when they're doing music, either live or over speakers, it's so loud that it's hard to be social there.

My favorite thing they do is sooo cute- lots of times when you go in people have brought snacks for everyone to share.
