Understaffed, and the staff there was unorganized, foul-mouthed and rude to customers. Out of SEVERAL popular items.

This seems to be a very popular breakfast spot. They do offer military discount like majority of the establishments within the area. They give you plenty portion wise. Enough to take home, but the thought of reheated breakfast doesn't sound too appetizing. Just enjoy it dining in lol. Pancakes were fluffy and plate size. More than enough to share amongst 2 others. After 3 bites you're full. The cheesesteak omelette was great and packed with a lot of flavor. I ordered a side of French toast, which was just as tasty. They were thick slices of toast that was dusted in cinnamon that ended up drowning in syrup. They do offer multiple fruit toppings if you want to make it a full on breakfast dessert. The western omelette would've been better had there been some flavor to it. It tasted very bland. Adding salt doesn't always do the trick. I just expected more flavor considering the requested ingredients I added to an already packed omelette. I will definitely be back to try some of the other options they offer.

The extra crispy bacon was just right and the cheddar grits creamy. The mimosa had fresh orange juice which I love. His omelette was "really good" which from him means great! Our server Rowan was super nice and quick! We really enjoyed the conversation. The seating hostess was kind of short with me. I'm soft spoken and when I said "two please" she looked up annoyed and replied "say it again" and just didn't make us feel very welcome. We still had a great meal and really enjoyed our experience. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance upbeat and cheerful. The food was plated beautifully. We will definitely be returning.

Food was great, it was a brunch menu, so we family styled-- fish and chips, and the breakfast burger which had egg and bacon in it-- delicious and filling. The kids had their Mac and cheese and burger which they demolished. The mimosas hit the spot. Highly recommend coming here, it's about 40mins away from Nashville. But Clarksville downtown is super cute to check out too!

Now it's got so many extra oils and toppings that are extraneous. When you end up mixing them in they don't actually do anything substantial to the flavor profile. I wish they'd yield back with the out of place accoutrements and let the star of the show be their excellent soup. The salad was perfection after some changes! I ordered the Cobb. The grilled chicken had that genuine grilled taste. I had them hold the egg and avocado on the Cobb and sub out the ranch for their house strawberry vinaigrette. Star of the meal! Their house mule cocktail was excellent. Perfectly made, I just wish my lime hadn't been so...dehydrated. My husband has the salmon and the only thing he could say was it was okay but a little dry. Our waitress was very pleasant but very apologetic. We had to wait a good ten minutes before I finally had to get up and go find a high chair. When you have a wiggly two year old and it isn't busy at all it was just inconvenient having to get up and wander around to find one myself while she chatted with the table departing behind us. This was my third visit to Strawberry Alley in the last four years. I would come here again for drinks with friends but probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

They require the entire party to be there at the time of seating. This is not a place ideal for a large group. That being said, however, it's very quaint and homey. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. I elected to have a hot Earl Grey tea while I was waiting for my other friends. The menu is pretty straightforward and simple. They offer a Cuban sandwich that I had to try. I know a good Cuban sandwich when I see one so seeing that on the menu was just too much of a temptation. The overall flavor profile of the sandwich was pretty good. The bread is not Cuban bread though. It's hard to come by up here in Tennessee. The bread they use is more of a dense bread, but it works well with the sandwich. My only other complaint is that the roast pork doesn't have taste of Mojo Criollo as I expect. It's just a little bit on the bland side. Otherwise, the portion is generous and very filling. I could only manage to eat half the sandwich. It comes with your choice of chips or breakfast potatoes. I opted for the breakfast potatoes, but I couldn't eat a bite of it. I was so full. I took the rest home. Most everybody in our group of four was pleased with their meal. Only one of us had over medium eggs that had a distinct off-fishy taste to it. She could not eat them. Otherwise, we had a very good experience. It would be nice to see this place open in a bigger venue where more people can enjoy what is offered. They are quite busy from what we can see. So maybe it's a matter of time. Would definitely like to try again and see what their other offerings are like. Probably won't with the group as it is too small for our usual numbers of attendees.

The inside appears to have been recently updated and renovated. On one side is the restaurant, the other is a tasting room, and the distilling in the in middle. We came in for lunch. Started out with old fashions which were spot in, ended up having two. For lunch it was the standard American fare. We had some lighter options like salads and shared plates. The food overall was good, but not extraordinary. Service could have been a little more attentive however. After lunch, we headed to the tasting room. The standard tasting was $16 which seemed to be quite reasonable. Some of the tastings are 90-100 proof, so be ready for that. Also picked up some T-shirts. We would have picked up a bottle, but because of TSA you would have to put it in a checked bag. We did end up picking up a bottle at the Nashville airport after security, but the cost is about 30% more. They indicated that you can order online and have it shipped. Looks like they do tours, but we did not have the time on this day. Definitely a stop if you are a whiskey drinker and in the Clarksville area.
