in October an agent came to perform normal services. He did not carry out his indoor spraying as all others have done over the years. Then he sprayed the outside of the house. Before he started he was warned not to spray close to the second floor windows. Without paying attention to this, he got significant spray on most of the windows on the second floor, which had all been professionally cleaned just a couple of weeks earlier. Now we are living with that throughout the winter. Numerous calls and emails to the company were ignored. No one ever attempted to contact me or try to make it right. read more

Horrible customer service. You can wait forever on hold and when they finally answer they can't find your account to schedule service. Then they say they will investigate and call you back. Don't hold your breath. I called several times till I finally reached someone who then put me in touch with a salesperson to start a new service. I am a customer and have been for a number of years paying $112 twice a year. This sales guy wanted to start a new account for me at $250-$300 each service. Do not sign up for any service with automatic deductions like the 365 Pest! They will charge you and not service the property and then not refund you when you complain. Scheduled an appointment with this company for a termite inspection. This was needed for a BA loan and Terminix failed to show three times. We called Ehrlich and scheduled an appointment. They promised they would be there but the tech called and cancelled a few hours before. He left his number to reschedule. We called immediately and over 24 hours later he has yet to return our call. read more

This used to be another family owned company with great service. So we called because we have bees coming in the house. My husband schedules for today, between 8-12pm, they call him and ask if this is the address in Cleveland they served before. He said NO, I gave you the current address. Crooked and shady. I called them for a quote on April 9. Hired someone else. A tech from Ehrlich called on the 16th of April and said he thought he was supposed to come to my house but he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do because there were no notes. I told him there were no notes because I didn't hire them. He said that made sense and thanked me for my time and cancelled the appt. Or so I thought. Recieved a bill from Ehrlich today (for the wrong address by the way). Called and they stated their system said they sprayed for ants and spiders on the 16th. Nope. Not only was I home all day, security cameras prove it...also offered to give them the name and number of the tech who did not come out. We shall see how this turns out. Watch out! read more

When I called 15 minutes after the end of the appointment window, they said I would hear from a manager. 2 hours later, still nothing. So I called back again. No one can call for 3 days. Horrible service! Been waiting for them for 2 months to come out for my second treatment that was included in my price and no one will return my calls or get back to me. I call the headquarters to go over the local franchise and still no luck. In fact, when headquarters looks at my account it states twice they were scheduled to come, which in fact was a lie because I was out of the country at that time so there was no way they were coming. The tech that came to the house was great so I have no problem with the actual workers. The ENTIRE problem is with their deceptive practices. I contacted several pest control companies for an ant problem. Two were clearly NOT from Ohio and had no idea where I lived or what a local problem might be. Ehrlich advertises as a 'local company' and I called a local number to speak to them (216 328 0700). The woman I spoke to knew the local ant problem and was very friendly. I asked if I had to agree to a year long contract (which I did not want) and she definitively and repeatedly said NO - that is what made Ehrlich different - they had no contracts- you bought an initial treatment and could decide if you ever wanted someone to come back out . If you asked for someone to come out within that year, the fee would be somewhere around 50 dollars a treatment, but there was NO OBLIGATION to do that. I only paid for the initial treatments (which was supposed to involve two treatments within the first month and then 1 follow up. The pandemic hit and we agreed with the tech that he could do the outside follow up but skip the inside for now (we could add it later since he was supposed to come back in to remove the residue from the initial treatment). He did return for the outside treatment as we had agreed and said he would follow up when it was more conducive to come inside. THEN I NOTICED MY CREDIT CARD had been charged for two months of additional service which we did not agree to. When I called, they said I had "misunderstood" but they would credit my account and discontinue the plan even though I had signed a contract (which I had not). The charges have not been removed from my credit card. read more

Ehrlich is an outstanding company that I would highly recommend! Our service technichian Bradey Heider is very knowledgeable, professional and interacts well with our elderly residents. Our campus sits on over 40 acres. They are great at problem solving various issues with the most friendly and knowledagble staff. Customer service and fast response are their strong suits.
