**Horrific Experience with SafeLite - Avoid at All Costs!**…read more My experience with SafeLite has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a 2022 BMW in February, and SafeLite replaced the cracked windshield before I picked it up. From the start, the windshield had a whistling noise. SafeLite suggested a replacement, but it took them months to get the glass in stock. Multiple appointments were scheduled and canceled due to their incompetence. Finally, in May, they replaced the windshield again, but the calibration failed, leaving the safety system non-functional. They told me it's safe to drive and will call me when the OEM glass is in stock. They have not called back. Almost two weeks later, after recent rains, I discovered water leaking into the cabin, and now all of my climate control buttons and heated seats to stopped working. This is going to be thousands of dollars in repairs. I called SafeLite over Memorial Day weekend and was escalated to customer care, but they were out of the office. My car is currently at the dealership getting assessed for damages, I have called SafeLite customer care FIVE times, and they keep trying to contact this shop and no one is calling anyone back. Technicians voicemails are full. Owners, if you are reading this please call Customer Care back immediately they have been calling and emailing you. This shop will be responsible for all repair bills. This issue is a huge inconvenience and clearly shows SafeLite's negligence. SafeLite has displayed a shocking level of incompetence and irresponsibility. Avoid them at all costs!

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared…read more I scheduled a windshield replacement and the first appointment was canceled due to staffing issues, which left me driving with a damaged windshield for an extra week. When the technician finally came, the service did not go smoothly. The install took longer than expected, and the post-install "test drive" lasted over 30 minutes, including time spent parked at an unrelated location without any communication. After the job, I was told the calibration failed, which meant all of my driver-assistance safety systems were disabled. Despite this, the job was marked as "completed" and I was charged in full. Since the replacement, my heads-up display is now blurry and misaligned, when it was crystal clear before. I also noticed what appears to be minor interior damage and questionable alignment around the windshield. The most frustrating part has been the lack of follow-up and communication. I was told I would receive a call, but days went by with no update. Multiple attempts by both myself and customer service to reach the local store went unanswered. The issue had to be escalated to higher levels before I even received a response. When I finally spoke with the store manager, the focus was on having their technicians redo the work rather than addressing the fact that the vehicle was returned in worse condition than before. I was also offered a refund or a discounted redo, neither of which actually resolves the problem. At this point, my main concern is simple: the vehicle needs to be restored to the condition it was in before the service, with fully functioning safety systems and a properly aligned HUD. I would strongly recommend being cautious and making sure you understand how calibration and follow-up will be handled before moving forward with this type of service.

I know they travel but if you need your sensors calibrated, it has to be done in the shop. It took about 90 minutes for mine the last time. They promise it in 2 hours. There's a waiting area or you can drop it off and they'll notify you when it's completed. Theresa, the front desk employee is super friendly. All of the technicians are professional, well qualified and fantastic. My insurance covers the entire cost so value is fantastic. My car comes back clean with no trace of glass. I highly recommend this establishment.

The staff have always been very nice, and once the car is in the shop the work itself tends to be quick. On my last visit they actually cracked the new windshield during installation, so I had to come back another day. The technician clearly felt terrible about it and handled it professionally, so it wasn't a huge deal. They also broke the plastic tabs on the small interior cover that hides the wiring to the rearview mirror, but it was cheap to replace and not worth making another trip back after already coming in twice. The other two replacements were pretty seamless. Not a place anyone wants to need often, but when I have needed them they've generally had plenty of appointments available, have been easy to work, and the turnaround has been quick.
