She entertained me greatly throughout the process and time flew by. The colour came out not exactly how I wanted- it came out even better. I'm never happy with any hair salon I go to because they always mess it up but I was ecstatic after I saw my hair because of how perfect it was done by Stephanie. Would 100% come back again Ps: balayage is usually extremely overpriced at other places but Koi Hair Studio charged me an amazingly reasonable price (wayy less than 200). This place is definitely a must try

Michelle was my stylist for the evening and I'm so glad she was, she was so lovely and did such an amazing job on my hair. She is the only one in a long time that listened to what I wanted done with my hair, and did it right! And my hairs not easy I have a thick head of hair.. but she's a talented girl and great with colour and we toned down the colour to match my natural colour underneath a little more, she gave it a glaze for me, a trim off the ends and even stayed a little over her shift to finish my hair! As the other reviews suggest, if you use debit, maybe bring cash to tip the girls. They more than deserve it! I stupidly didn't have much on me but I have pre-booked my next appointment so I'll be making sure to tip the next time! All the girls are amazing, friendly, and so professional for somewhere out of the city.. they provide such a good service! Couldn't recommend them enough! And highly recommend Michelle she is a gem! I also bought the purple shampoo to treat my blonde so my total was somewhere over $200 I forget the exact amount, (there's a breakdown on the receipt) which I found expensive but they did a great job! I'm just not sure I could pay that every time. Also bathrooms are kept clean that's always a nice plus ;-)

She seemed to understand then she proceeded to turn me away from the mirror and cut my hair. When she was done the style was completely different from what I had asked for, the length was about four inches too short and the right and left sides didn't match each other at all. She and the cashier working in the store insisted it looked great so I paid and left then contacted customer service. Well the representative I talked to was more interested in lecturing me than trying to resolve anything. He said he tried to call the store but could never get ahold of the manager or owner but he would keep trying and call me back. I never heard from him or anyone else with the company again. I had to go to another salon to have them fix my hair but still no refund, resolution or even an APOLOGY from Trade Secrets.
