Wow, where do I start? First Dr. Caitlin Walters Passaro is such a caring and dedicated kind human…read morebeing. She is very understanding and always answers any questions you may have, and if she doesn't have the answer she will find it and get back to you. I am so grateful to the team at [Friendship Veterinary] for their incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. After my beloved bunny, Twinkie passed on 3/21/26 under the care of another clinic, (my bunny had GI stasis and had to visit the ER hospital in niceville since this happened over the weekend) they sent a heartfelt letter of condolences and flowers. Their compassion and understanding during such a difficult time meant the world to me. They treated Twinkie like family, not just a pet, and I will always be grateful for their caring hearts. I would highly recommend Friendship Veterinary to anyone with pets especially exotic animals! Thank you once again.

Having just moved to the area, I was referred to Brightman Pet Clinic as a caring, honest place to…read moretake our family dog when it had to be euthanized. The experience was horrible. First, they only do the procedure in the late afternoon. Our dog was old, and we knew the time would come when we would have to out her to sleep. However, the last couple days were bad. She deteriorated quickly. When we made the decision to euthanize her, waiting all day for the procedure was emotionally taxing. The worst part was when we arrived for our 4:30 appointment. Due to COVID procedures, they were doing the euthanasia in the car. No issues. The issue was we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes - 70 minutes AFTER our appointment - for the vet to finally come out to euthanize our family dog. It made a bad situation so much worse. Of course, the clinic will blame COVID, but 70 minutes! Come on. Like I said, we just moved to the area. I won't be able to give positive recommendations for pet care, but I can certainly tell people where NOT to take their animals.

This clinic is very friendly and helpful. About two years ago I got a kitten I named Blackberry. He…read morewas very sick. Once I got him stable and he was old enough, Brightman did his neutering and shots. They were more expensive than other places I called, but they really took good care of him. He was checked for FIV and other disease he may have picked up before we rescued him. They also offered pain meds to him which I thought was really great because all of the other places I called said male cats do not need pain control. Blackberry ended up needing some! Can you imagine being fixed and NOT having pain control? He was meowing a lot and trying to lick himself where he was injured - I realize that is normal but it's because they are uncomfortable. No reason to make your furamily member suffer! Unless that is how you treat all your kids? Lol. I hope not! In the office the sell some really great candles for pet odor control. They are pricy but fantastic! Green Apple is very fresh smelling and does not trigger my migraines or my son's asthma like many scents do. I have called in MANY questions and concerns and they were all answered promptly and with professionalism. We will go back to this clinic as needed and I would recommend to anyone. Remember, the cheapest is NOT the number one thing to look for when booking your pet's surgery (spay or neuter)!!! If you cannot afford to have your animal safely fixed you probably annoy afford your animal. Pets are family members and family members get sick. Getting sick can get expensive fast! Make responsible choices and find a vet you can trust like Brightman!
