Spaghetti Marinara - another 2-3 ingredient marriage of how al dente pasta and rendered tomato sauce can be made to be a symphony of flavors. Veal Marsala- hands down, the best I have ever experienced as it was just 4 slices of tender veal laying gently over a silky flavor bomb marsala that kept you going back for more. The burrata tasted like it was made one hour before. Absolutely amazing. For our entrees I ordered the spaghetti with zucchini, zucchini flowers, truffles, and shrimp. My boyfriend ordered the steak and potatoes. We both loved our entrees and even had some leftovers. We tried the "world's best panna cotta" for dessert. We both love panna cotta and loved the texture. It was so decadent. However, it tasted exactly like caramel popcorn. There were 2 other tables seated next to us and they were reviving great service from a different server. They got all of their dishes before us even being seated 10-15 minutes after us. He said they were annoyed when he asked about the pizza and next thing you know it comes right out. The crust on the outside was cooked but the middle was literally not cooked at all. My main was a typical Tuscan dish of stewed beef with black pepper, herbs & tomato sauce with polenta. Indescribable delicious. Moist, tender, and scrumptious. I'm thinking this is the best meal I've had in Italy! Lost a star cause my dining partners ravioli was salty & al-dente & neither are the way she likes it. I'd do this over again for sure.
