I paid extra for gluten free pancakes but there was no mark on the containers to know which of the three orders of pancakes were GF. I tried calling the restaurant to ask if they could tell me how to identify the GF pancakes but no answer after 40 rings. This place was amaazing, our waiter Graham was out of this world. He was attentive and asked all of the right questions as a waiter. He went above and and beyond for his job. So he made our experience even better, we came on a Sunday and did not have to wait long at all because we chose to sit outside. My wife, teenage son and I had a satisfying breakfast. The service was excellent, we loved the food, and prices were very reasonable. There's a large menu with many interesting choices. My wife had the Chicken Carnitas Skillet with Banana/Nutella pancakes (in place of toast). My son had Biscuits and Gravy and grits, and I had a Biscuits and Gravy Omelette with Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (in place of toast). My son didn't care for the grits (trying them for the first time) but we loved everything else. The coffee was really good too. We had been waiting for them to open for a while. They did a lot of renovations to the space from what it was and is very nice and clean. The menu has pretty much anything you could want for breakfast. The best thing there was the automatic fresh orange juice machine. I could sit and watch that thing run all day. I think i need one at my house!! We both decided to go for the Very Berry Waffles. One came out totally "ruined" missing the powdered sugar but figured it looked like it had more fruit so decided to not throw it off the table and demand they try again. . They did bring out way to much powered sugar for me to self apply but apply it i did . A little more mascarpone cheese would be nice. I tried another breakfast spot for this same item and was smothered in it and was a little much but this felt a little light. Maybe one more small scoop would be perfect. I also tried a side of the grits and they were perfect with some butter. Nice and creamy. The staff and manager were very nice and attentive. Only issue looked like with one register they would get a decent sized checkout line from time to time while we were there. Definitely worth a visit and i will be back. Update - came back for the second try. We ordered an item that included in the side option as hash browns, grits or fruit. Took the fruit option and was then told the fruit was an additional cost. They highlight above all the griddle options that you can get real maple syrup for an additional cost but they don't do this with the fruit and it is included in many of the items and isn't called out to be extra. The manager did come over later and explained we wouldn't be charged and that the server just got confused since she was being trained but her trainer got confused too. Very adorable inside! Good food. I had the best waiter! He said that the fruit crepe was good and that he ordered it all the time. I believe him! Usually its just one fruit you get but it has blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries! It was really sweet! Easily fixed by not eating as much of the drizzles. I had egg benedict too and it was good but a little watery. I enjoyed the crepe much more. I had grits too. Good but I prefer oatmeal. But this is a more southernist place. Our server was SO HELPFUL in menu suggestions & letting us know we could basically customize anything to get exactly what we wanted. Thus, I was able to capture the savory & sweet menu items that I wanted both of! Ps. The OJ was super fresh! HIGHLY recommend plus several locals also made this recommendation to us! Side note: I also tried the "Mother" sparkling apple cider vinegar drink they had in blueberry (I do drink ACV at home regularly) mostly out of curiosity since I'm used to a very bitter shot at home... it was delicious!!!
