It would take her hours to clean this house. She also offered us $60 to replace most of our clothes that were ruined with the washing machine. I've stayed in many of their properties and have left a wide range of reviews and only the best , 5 star reviews get published publicly which is not a good way for the customer to know what they are getting. This has happened now twice with Greybeard where the house had 5 star reviews but was not a 5 star home. They are nice to deal with and the homes are cleaned well. They just need to be transparent about the houses.

It's perfectly decorated, cozy and the layout is very family-friendly or bachelorette/bachelor party-friendly with several huge communal areas. My kids went wild over the tree house bunk room and the master suite is incredible. We LOVED the view from the hot tub! There were LOTS of things I loved about the house, but I was really impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with quality items. I usually bring my own serving platters, knives, trash bags, paper towels, etc. and we never even had to unpack any of those items. The kitchen had everything you could need -- from a variety of coffee to ziploc bags to massive serving platters. The rest of the house was thoughtfully stocked too with things like laundry detergent, shampoo & conditioner, firewood, etc. Another feature that was hugely helpful was every thing was labeled in the house -- all of the remotes, switches, speaker system, wi-fi, etc. Lastly, Jay (the owner) is an incredible host. He had his phone number posted in several places so you can easily reach him and was a breeze to work with.

I highly encourage you to book 1-3 of his side by side homes (soon to be 4!) for your family, friends, celebration, etc. He spared no expensive in constructing and decorating the homes and it shows. I wish I could live full time in any of his houses. They have literally any amenity you could need and then some. No detail is too small for him to notice. We booked his 3 houses to hosts guests in lieu of an isolating hotel block for our wedding. Our friends were super excited- we planned to put friend groups together in different houses and it was going to be a reunion weekend for so many people! Sadly we had to cancel because of the pandemic- but that can't stop me from recommending Jay's accommodations. In addition to staying at one of the houses ourselves, we were going to hold the ceremony at the end of the road directly adjacent to the houses. Jay was incredibly generous with his time, giving us tours of the property, discussing modifications to fit our needs, figuring out bed arrangements to fit our guests, etc. We had several calls and meetings with him over the course of a year as we planned our wedding on his property. Of all the people we worked with over the course of planning the wedding, he was the one we felt the most confident about in terms of seeing our plans through. Such a friendly guy! He really care about making sure you have a great time during your stay. If you're just looking for a few days vacation in Asheville, it's the perfect spot. Great house, great location. Borrow his inner tubes and go for a ride down the French Broad River to the New Belgium Brewery. Relax in the hot tub. Enjoy the high quality, high tech amenities. The beds were comfy the tent was cute inside and everything was clean including the public bathhouse. I however did not use the porta potty because I don't use those but I'm sure it was clean. We came in the winter time and if your issue with camping is bugs then i suggest this is the time to go if you can bare the cold! Did not see a single insect which helped because I cannot do spiders Lol! Ended the long day coming back from snowboarding by easing down in the hot tub while watching the stars. Honestly stayed warm for 20 minutes after getting out of tub. Couldn't figure out how to use heat/ac unit so we used our own space heater we brought but theres a page in the binder about how to use it that I wish we saw. (our fault) Either way the blankets kept us plenty warm and the sun in the morning warmed us up too. Fun experience overall and did not dissapoint. Saw somewhere in a review I think about frozen pipes and prepared for that and I think they were frozen because no water came out of sink or shower. That was no problem for us though because we brought plenty of water bottles. Still recommend regardless because you don't get a shower camping usually anyways.

It appears they only post the positive 5-star reviews on their website? As much as I want to re-write my whole review here, I'll give you the quick summary... We stayed in the slide dome (with the blue slide). The website photos and description look and sound so amazing. Unfortunately, it was pretty misleading and photos need updating. In reality, the location feels abandoned/overgrown with damaged structures and debris mixed in with the campsites. Our mountain view from the dome was 90% blocked from overgrown trees/brush. The private toilet was a portapotty. The "bath house" was a compact trailer with 2 showers (with flies coming out of the drain). The shared fire pit is a circle of rocks with no seating. And there are no signs, so finding things is difficult. Positive note: the dome we stayed at was unique and nice inside. But that wasn't enough to justify the cost. It felt more like camping than glamping unfortunately. If it matched the website photos, this place could be great. But it didn't. Wish I would have come to Yelp first and seen the other reviews.

They present themselves as a full service packing, organizing and moving company.  We had a written agreement,  I paid in full. They packed very haphazardly. Items were broken or damaged while being unpacked. Furniture was broken and/or not assembled properly. They did not complete the unpacking in the first day, as promised, and never returned to complete the job. When presented with a list of the damages, they promised to resolve the issues, and never did.  Damaged items that were removed from my house to be repaired or replace have never been returned. Save yourself time, energy and money. They are not to be trusted.

He immediately called me and hopped on his computer to look for more land in the area I was in. He truly goes above and beyond! My fiancé and I decided to bring our own security camera to look out onto the front porch for peace of mind while we were out and about. 2 days into our trip we noticed a man on the front porch of the cabin. The man was holding a tool bag. He knocks twice, waits 1-2 seconds, enters the door code and enters the cabin. I was not notified of any maintenance happening nor did I approve of that. We contacted the local police and alerted them of this. I feel deeply uncomfortable and appalled that this has happened. We contacted Yonder but they were no help at all. Do not book with this company!
