We felt very at home with them as our hosts. RiverDance was the perfect spot for our group too. We stayed with some newly acquired "friends" of the bride (like us) and we all had plenty of space to get to know each other without invading each other's space. The views are incredible too. We had so much fun returning from wedding events to just hang out together. I would recommend RiverDance to anyone who is visiting the Marshall / Hot Springs area. I know we will be back :)

We arrived on Monday and departed Friday to continue our vacation. We checked into a more "highly regarded" and more expensive B&B today. Already, we see many things at Bald Mountain House we do not find here. First, Monica is an amazing hostess, incredible chef (most amazing breakfasts ever!), and cares for her guests so well! It is the most peaceful and tranquil place we have ever stayed. The king Tempur-pedic in the Blue Ridge Suite was like being in our own bed at home, except the only sounds we heard was the flowing steam and singing birds. The cool mountain are allowed us to keep the windows open our entire stay, even when we turned on the AC for a cool sleep at night. The place smelled so fresh and was very clean (perfect 100 sanitation rating). There were always drinks stocked in the fridge and coffee and cookies available in the dining room. The tap water was soft and tasted as good as any bottled water. We enjoyed the many comfy chairs on the huge covered porch as we watched golden finches, hummingbirds, and other beautiful birds feast at the many feeders while we looked at the vast mountain range above the flower planter boxes. We were able to do some hiking on the infamous Appalachian Trail, including breathtaking views atop Big Bald mountain. Monica provided a lot of helpful information when we asked, especially regarding dinner ideas. While the owners were on site and available 24/7, we appreciated that unlike other places we have been they did not immerse themselves into their guests space! We hope to return again in the future!

The glamping was really nice-- set up in a livestock trailer (yes, you read that right), but this "red roof inn" was very comfortable-- equipped with a regular bed and kept us warm and dry. While there, we also did check the campsites out-- very nice and remote if you want to get away. The property also has a cottage/cabin that we already think about when the weather gets cooler. Sarah and John took great care of us and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is great to reach the Smoky Mountains NP or to get into Pisgah National Forest, or just relax by the pond!

Every single detail from the day we chose this location until the minute we checked out the Sunday after the wedding was perfect. The staff at Sleepy Hollow is fantastic. All information was lined out up front without any surprises. The packages were all inclusive unless specifically and clearly stated. Danielle, the wedding director, stayed on top of every deadline and detail. She was prompt in responding to emails, made excellent recommendations for vendors and coordinated all deliveries for the day of. Planning a wedding event from 1000 miles away is not easy but the staff at Sleepy Hollow made it completely stress-free. The weekend of the wedding they were SOOO accommodating. The Inn was absolutely beautiful, well kept and spacious. Our families were able to relax and visit the day of without the stresses of rushing from location to location. The facilities that they offer for the ceremony and reception are not justified in pictures; you must see it in person. We are so thankful to Sleepy Hollow for making our wedding the most amazing experience of our lives. Our guests expressed the same sentiments about the whole weekend. Vero Mountain Dome Glamping exceeded all of our expectations. The attention to detail in the bed…read moresetup, with luxurious bedding and a hotel-quality comforter, made for an incredibly comfortable and cozy night's sleep. The addition of a heated mattress pad was a thoughtful touch that added an extra level of comfort. The shower experience was outstanding, with plenty of hot water and a refreshing waterfall showerhead. Despite the chilly 23° weather, everything stayed warm thanks to the user-friendly pellet stove. The hot tub, set at a perfect 104°, provided a truly relaxing experience. Additionally, the soak tub next to the bed was a delightful luxury. Every single detail that could have been thought of was. The place is decorated so perfectly and thoughtful. I was super excited to find a blue tooth speaker for music. What made our stay even more special was the owners, Tom and Cris, who went above and beyond to show us their farm and introduce us to all their animals. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. This was our first time staying in an eco-Dome, and it was a definite 5-star experience. A beautiful chapel sits between the lodge and the hostel. Lots of flowers and plants and trees. Easy access to the Appalachian trail. There are seating areas with lovely views, kitchen and dining areas, library space, old piano, and so many nifty nooks and so many touches of ambience. They even have a pet cam that you can log into & see your fur babies when they have to stay home. I highly recommend this Hideaway. Only about an hour drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area, we were close enough for "big town" shopping and sightseeing. But for the days we didn't want to go anywhere, we had adventures on the property to keep us entertained. We will definitely return.
