It was our 25 year wedding anniversary. We love staying near water & waterfalls. We travel with our dogs. We contacted Ken & he invited us to stay. We stayed 2 weeks. We're from Texas. We stayed there from July 27th to August 8th, 2025. What to say about Ken's place. Exceptional is the best way to describe it. The house is automated and you can turn on lights and adjust the air with your voice. Also you can change the inside and outside lights with your voice. Just not the waterfall lights. We opened all the windows at night to listen to the falls. The colorful lights outside are outstanding. The trails are great for human's and pets to walk around his waterfalls. The moss trails are great to see. The huge rocks are also great to see with moss over them. As a photographer I took over 900 photos of this place to remember are excellent vacation with our dogs and us. Ken communicates well and I like to get to know the hosts when I'm staying at their places. I know I sent Ken to many texts talking to him. Which I know is not normal, but Ken is a very nice person and communicated back with no issues. He also maintains the property himself every chance he gets when new guests are about to arrive. If you want to go some where to eat or get gas I'd suggest Trust General Store. We went there every day of our trip to eat lunch. On some mornings they have local's playing instruments and sometimes they have events where car clubs or motorcycles stopping in. Everyone is really nice. A local Author may meet you at the store and show you his book and sign it for you and you can have your picture with him. We like traveling in our Jeep Wrangler and using the OnX App on our phone to find off road trails. There are many within driving distance to Ken's house. The waterfalls are more than awesome at Ken's place. We did not want to leave and head back to Hot, Humid, Texas. This was our first time staying at Ken's place. In closing if you want to stay some where unique please check out Windows over Waterfalls and book a stay and enjoy the sounds of falls. Bring your pets. I think you can bring up to three. Have your wedding over or near the waterfalls.
