There is comfortable couch and table seating inside. The atmosphere is cozy comfortable with a touch of Vietnamese decor. I got myself the Vietnamese coffee with a biscoff foam. First of all, I will tell you this is not for the lighthearted-- the flavor is intense and wonderful, but the caffeine is going to kick in after a few sips! I have truly been sleeping on this cafe. First tip, park in the back if you don't see street parking in the front. When you enter you are instantly greeted by the most friendly service. I've been to egg and ca Phe twice, both times I got the Vietnamese coffee. I've tried the popular egg foam as well as the pandan. Both were delicious! The coffee is not super sweet but the cold foam helps make it sweeter. I'd say it's strong but not as strong as some other Vietnamese coffees I've had. I've been here twice, and both visits have been great! It's awesome that OKC now has a Vietnamese egg coffee shop--and it's solid. Their Vietnamese coffee is bold, unlike many others. Sometimes Vietnamese coffee can be overly sweet or creamy, but this one was perfectly balanced and well-made. Top it off with the Biscoff foam or egg foam, and it's simply divine. On today's visit, I tried their matcha latte with ube foam, and it was fantastic. The place was packed today, but the service was still quick and friendly. The decor is thoughtfully done, with plenty of Asian-inspired touches. The drinks are a bit on the pricey side, so this isn't our everyday coffee stop, but a treat spot when we want something special. read more

Love the inside decor and seating. It feels perfect for Okc. I came during some of the first days during their soft opening. I got a lavender matcha latte. They don't have Stevie or Splenda, which is kind of a bummer. Maybe they will read this and add that as an option. I like my drinks a little sweet, but not full of sugar. The customer service was great. The guy who took our order was friendly and was prompt with welcoming us inside. I got the lavender matcha latte and my boyfriend got the Ube matcha latte. They are about $7 each. I lived the lavender matcha latte and even though just the cold foam was a little sweet and the rest wasn't it was such a nice and refreshing drink for the weekend. I tried Egg CaPhe for the first time after seeing a few videos about it on TikTok! They have so many fun coffee and matcha options, I seriously wished I could try them all at once. I was especially excited about the pandan foam top, it's hard to find pandan options now-a-days. You can get the foams on lattes, matchas, or Vietnamese coffees, which is a cool touch. I also tried the banana nut bread milk and loved it, it reminded me of the banana Laffy Taffy flavor in the best way. The café itself is super cute with a friendly staff, and I believe it's owned by the same people behind Chick & Beer. Would be a good spot to study if you need one The only downside is that the drinks took a bit of time to come out, but since it's a small, local spot (and not a Starbucks), but it didn't really bother me much. read more

This was one of our first stops on our trip to OKC. We wanted matcha and found this place. Right away we were greeted and noticed how nicely decorated and comfortable it felt. There were couches, little spots in the corner to sit on, and big tables as well. We went a few times. All the drinks we got were an iced strawberry matcha latte, a Vietnamese iced coffee with salted foam, a strawberry matcha latte with Ube cold foam and a banana pudding matcha. The strawberry matcha was very delicious. It originally was ordered with ube cold foam but got strawberry cold foam instead. The matcha was strong but not bitter and the strawberry syrup blended perfectly to add some sweetness into the drink. The strawberry cold foam was also very rich which added to the creaminess of it. The Vietnamese iced coffee was really good. It was a perfect pick me up and this drink was perfectly sweet but still had a strong coffee flavor. The salted foam paired perfectly with the sweet iced coffee. The strawberry matcha latte with Ube cold foam was very rich in flavor. The Ube added a more earthy presence to the matcha and blended well with the strawberry syrup. Not too sweet, not too bitter. The banana pudding matcha latte was a creamy drink. It had banana pudding shreds on the bottom that added extra sweetness and texture. A satisfying drink for banana lovers. Overall we had a pleasant experience. A great spot for studying, playing games, or relaxing while enjoying a great drink. Despite the small mistake with the Ube cold foam we would come back if we were in OKC again. read more

I came to Egg and CaPhe to meet a friend on a weekday morning and came into a large space that had large areas for bigger group meetings and also quite a few nooks with comfortable seating for smaller parties. I was greeted by a nice barista behind the counter who took my order. I tried the peach matcha latte, recommended by the barista when I inquired about it. The drink was served cold with more ice than I cared for. I came in on a cold day and I definitely expected a hot drink, so I was a little bit surprised when it came out iced without warning. However, the drink was absolutely delicious!! The peach flavors really came through in the foam on top and at the bottom of the drink as well when sipping with a straw, and I would order this again! My friend ordered the banana bread latte, and he really liked his drink as well! I drive from Norman to North OKC about once a month to go to Trader Joe's and this morning I didn't have time to make coffee and figured it would be a good time to try a new coffee place in OKC. I wanted something different. A little voice told me to get off on N 23rd but I ignored it and got off on N 63rd and decided to search for a coffee shop. Well of course the coffee shop that caught my eye is located on 23rd so I hopped back on the freeway and went back to where my little intuitive thought told me to go in the first place. That will teach me to listen to my gut more often. Granted, I've only tried one drink, but I already cannot wait to go back to Egg & Caphe. This place is cute. Parking is a hassle right now simply because the area is under quite a bit of construction, but once you know this place is there, it's worth it. I got the Vietnamese Coffee with Ube Cold Foam. The staff was incredibly kind and asked if it was my first time and wanted to ensure I liked my drink because if you've never had Vietnamese Coffee you might be in for a surprise as it's very strong. I've never seen it served black. It's usually served with condensed milk and for good reason. I appreciated that the coffee didn't have a lot of milk because the Ube Cold Foam was quite a bit sweeter than I expected. They said the beans are harvested in Vietnam, shipped to Chicago where they are roasted and then shipped to their store directly. It's a pretty amazing world we live in. read more

Egg and Caphe was absolutely amazing. Drove up from Norman to try this place out and it is 100% worth the drive. It's located in the arts district so there are a lot of options around. There is parking in the front but that was all full so we parked in the back lot. The inside was a gorgeous deep green color with the back bar having green tiles. Since they just opened, they had their soft menu out with different matcha options, Vietnamese, coffee options, and so many different flavors of cold foam. Ordered our drinks and sat down with tons of seating options. There was only one person making the drinks so they might take a little which is not a problem at all. We got our matchas and they were both amazing. They are making matcha the traditional way which is always appreciated and you can't beat that color. As a whole this place definitely has the best matcha in OKC and can't wait to go back!! read more

I came here to specifically try the matcha and let me just say, it did not disappoint! Their matcha is unsweetened and full of flavor. My drink tastes like matcha--not milk! Yay!
