They unfortunately don't take my insurance but I go here anyway and pay out of pocket because when you find a Doctor you trust , you don't leave. The current office staff is excellent as well. Dr Savino listens , cares, and takes as long as you need with each visit. The other plus is that you never really wait a long time for your visit. I think generally, the wait is maybe 10-15 minutes , if that. Obviously, things happen when it's longer but that's very rare. I always recommend them. Best Doctors on Staten Island as far as I'm concerned.

He's extremely thorough and listens to his patients, which I think is sometimes lacking with many medical professionals. He recommended testing for something just by looking at me and turned out he was right but thankfully it ended up not being something very bad (I prefer not to give my medical history which makes this sentence read awkward lol). Basically, he's just an awesome doctor and I can say easily the best I've encountered in years. I travel from Brooklyn to see him bc I will no longer trust anyone else with my medical care (I realize BK to SI isn't far but there are tons of doctors in Brooklyn)

My obgyn diagnosed me with eczema, but couldn't completely confirm because he wants me to see another dermatologist! If I would've been examined here at this establishment, maybe my obgyn wouldn't have had to do his analysis blind. He couldn't understand why I wasn't fully examined here, but he advised me not to come back, and I won't. Very frustrating.

It was a bit odd for her to initiate a conversation this way. I kindly explained to her that I do have health insurance. I had provided that information several times online. I also gave my insurance information over the phone when a staff member called me to confirm my appointment the day before. I waited to be seen. Approximately 4 other patients arrived after me & were seen before me. I patiently observed this and thought I will wait to see how my visit goes before I solidify my overall impression. The PA was very informative and nice. Unfortunately she did not identify herself as a PA, just as Jacqueline Levine. They were going to charge me over $100 for simple skin tag removals which I needed to schedule at another visit. I decided i better seek out another dermatologist. Luckily, I did. And am so, so grateful for listening to my instinct. The other office - Skinworks is phenomenal. There is a location in Park Slope for all the Brooklyn folk.

This lady Daniella answered for the YMCA and was the sweetest most helpful receptionist. I was blown away (which is sad because I work in the industry and mental health providers should all have receptionists like Daniella) with sunny dispositions... but they don't. I had to call back and get her name and thank her because that is the person you want to speak with to help you through a tough time like many people who call their.

The people in front are really fantastic - they helped me a lot with my insurance company- and are always nice and knowledgeable. The Physical Therapists are great, and recently made an adjustment to my therapy plan that really helped out. Again; knowledgeable and eager to help you get better. They will push you to help yourself :) My knee is feeling stronger every day, and the pain is getting reduced little by little. Clean facility, flexible with appointments (I work nights so I am at an advantage), overall really good experience. Also, if I could give it 4.5 stars, I would.
