I've received so many compliments, and everyone says the results look so natural that they never would have known I had surgery if I hadn't told them myself. One of the things I appreciate most about Dr. Toft's work is his focus on achieving a natural result. He doesn't overdo things or follow social media trends simply to create a certain look. His approach is thoughtful, refined, and tailored to the individual. My recovery was also much easier and faster than I expected. My downtime was only about two weeks. I was back at work after two weeks and was wearing makeup and attending social events by the third week after surgery. The office staff are amazing--extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help schedule my appointments around my very busy schedule. My confidence has improved significantly, and I'm extremely happy that I decided to have the surgery. It has truly been a life-changing experience for me, and I would absolutely recommend Dr. Toft.

I also recall being conscious while he chiseled away at my bone -- an experience I found deeply unsettling. The damage from this surgery was severe enough that I recently underwent a 6.5-hour reconstructive procedure just to correct the structural problems it caused. I share this so others considering surgery with Dr. Toft can make a fully informed decision. Please do your own research before proceeding.

When his assistant took my blood pressure it was extremely high, I chalked it up to being nervous at a doctor's office, but Dr. Sykes was concerned and sat with me to discuss the dangers of high blood pressure, the silent killer. He urged me to make an appointment with my provider to double check. Turns out, I had untreated high blood pressure and some other underlying issues that needed immediate treatment. I cannot thank Dr. Sykes enough for his advice, he truly cares about people because his number one concern is the health and safety of people before anything else, he absolutely saved me from a potential devastating health crisis. I can't thank him enough. After four months my health was in check, I was ready for my procedure. The results were fantastic, and they speak for themselves - I am so happy with how everything turned out. Dr. Sykes is one of the best facial plastic surgeons in the world - I would not limit that praise to just the area of his practice. He is truly gifted and delivers natural results, one of my concerns was that I might not look like myself after surgery - that is not the case, Dr. Sykes sees each person as an individual and works with their own unique anatomy for perfectly natural results and I am so thrilled with my outcome. Dr. Sykes truly cares about his patients and makes them a top priority especially after their procedures. On the third day after my surgery, I was having anxiety (no doubt attributed to the detox from anesthesia which is very normal), it was 9:30 PM and my husband texted Dr. Sykes so we could get some reassurance as to how I was feeling. Dr. Sykes immediately called my husband back, he assessed the situation and suggested a solution which immediately helped. I cannot stress enough how much that meant to me, he is a very compassionate and talented surgeon. I'd also like to mention that his entire staff is very kind and accommodating, it was always a great experience at each follow-up appointment. Thank you so much Dr. Sykes and everyone at Roseville Facial Plastic Surgery, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sykes and his team to anyone seeking facial procedures!!

Instead of improving my appearance, the surgery left my eyes asymmetrical, and over time the unevenness has become even more noticeable. I'm posting before photos, early healing photos, and current photos to show that the excess skin and unevenness remain -- and in my opinion, look worse than before surgery. This review is for the DaVinci Whitening service performed by their esthetician, April…read more Initially planned on a long detailed review, but decided to keep it brief and to the point. Feel free to reach out for an in depth review. Regret coming here. It was an obvious red flag when the esthetician wasn't able to answer most of my questions, specifically basic post procedure questions. Also refused to answer some questions twice, as though asking a question more than once was deemed unacceptable and non-billable. Said they only used "natural" products, and DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide, claiming "hydrogen peroxide isn't natural," but that is in fact the product they used. Lots of conflicting and contradictory information was provided. The esthetician seemed rushed and impatient. Applied the product so quickly and inadequately with her hair flopping around my mouth. Did not have good results. In fact, resulted in severe chemical damage due to lack of adequate gum protection applied. The before and after photos confirm chemical damage and gum recession. Save your teeth. DO NOT COME HERE. It's a business that's purely focused on making money. Their clinical practice questions their moral character.

Technique seemed to account for most of the results quality. Dr. Yamahata patients showed VERY natural results. I immediately schelduled a consult and he spent an hour with me and my partner educating me on size, implant type, scarring, recovery and drop and fluff process. I decided to move forward that day and immediately talked to his staff, who were all so easy to talk to and were so professional. I was able to learn about financing on 0% cards and the discount for cash in full payments. I also learned about warranty for the implants and choices for anesthesia versus 'twilight' anesthesia. The surgery center was able to schedule my surgery less than 6 weeks after my consult. There was a pre surgery appointment that let me have some time to zero-in on the sizing that I wanted where I got to try on different implant sizes which allowed me to realize that going larger would still look appropriate. When surgery day came they treated me with great care and even saved my 'existing' 30 year old implants for me take home! LOL. They sent me home with a gift bag with fuzzy socks and a stuffed pumpkin, a new surgical bra and extra gauze. Afterwards all of the followup appointments were included and I felt VERY well cared for; Now I am at 4 months and the drop and fluff process has occurred and the results are gorgeous. The results far exceed what I expected. They are perfect. I look amazing! You will be so happy with Dr. Yamahata's skill so don't hesitate to move forward. Now I want more procedures because of it!

I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience at Granite Bay Dermatology & Laser Center…read morewith Dr. Scott B. Hearth's office. I went in specifically for skin tag removal and was treated by Dr. Johanna Dawson and her assistant. They clearly explained it as a cosmetic procedure that insurance would not cover. When I asked about the cost, I was told it would be $200 or less. The procedure was performed, and when I inquired about follow-up if the tags didn't fully resolve, the doctor assured me there would be no additional charge for the same tags. At checkout, the front desk told me the total billed was $180 with my responsibility being $108.94. I paid what I understood to be my full share based on what I was told that day. A month later, with half the skin tags still present, I received a bill for an additional $200 specifically for the "cosmetic procedure." When I called billing to question this, they claimed the original $180 was only for the office visit and this was a separate charge. No one had disclosed this breakdown or the true total cost on the day of service. Had I known the full amount upfront, I would have addressed payment immediately. Instead, I was left with incomplete results and surprise billing. I called to schedule a follow-up for the remaining tags (the exact same ones the doctor had already treated), and I was told I would be charged again despite the doctor's earlier assurance. They also refused to schedule the appointment until the disputed bill is paid. The entire process felt like a classic bait-and-switch focused on maximizing charges rather than transparent care. The staff comes across as very superficial -- smiling and giving partial information during the visit, but showing little genuine concern for patient outcomes or clarity once the procedure is done. It seems the priority is collecting every possible dollar rather than supporting patients through the full treatment process they promise. I would strongly caution anyone considering services here to get every single cost, charge code, and follow-up policy in writing before agreeing to anything. Extremely poor communication and patient-focused care. UPDATE: The business's public reply to my feedback on Google maps is nothing but empty lip service and word salad. They still refuse to acknowledge that the total cost for the procedure was never clearly communicated to me on the day of service. Their response tries to shift all responsibility onto the patient while defending their confusing billing practices. When I later called to schedule a follow-up for the remaining (same) skin tags, the staff member was extremely rude and demeaning. The office manager, Barbara, did eventually call me back and personally apologized for the poor tone of that call as well as for the incomplete information given on the day of the procedure. However, that private apology does not match the defensive, blame-shifting public response from the business. It feels like they are more interested in protecting their position than genuinely resolving patient concerns. The superficial smiles during the visit quickly disappear when issues arise. Their questionable approach to communication and customer service makes me seriously wonder about their ethics and how they retain patients.
