I was so worried about being awake and possibly feeling pain. It was not as bad as I thought. I did feel some discomfort but it was just like a hard pressure in certain areas in my arms. The only pain was getting poked with a needle, but to me that's tolerable. Overall it was an amazing experience at the Roseville office and they would be my first choice if I ever need another procedure. I can't wait to see the results. Beware of before and after photo manipulation. They have you put your feet on numbers in a full 365 circle for before photos but after your Lipo, they ask you to spread your feet on outside of numbers, so that your legs are more spread apart, making you look slimmer on after photos. Furthermore, I had a follow up appointment with Dr Hegstrom to go over my results, which I was not happy with. I still had hip dips and I did not see a difference. My body actually looked more proportioned before. I feel it looks deformed now, uneven. My hips and waist line are not even anymore. Dr Hegstrom was thinking out loud and brainstorming on how he could fix my hip dips and make a more of a even hourglass shape that I was told I would have. He said he could preform a revision on my hips and blend into my waist but also take some fat from my arms and place in my hip dip area. I asked him, would that all be included in my $1895 revision fee. He said, let me go ask my manager Alicia. He came back shorty after and said, I have good news, she approved everything. He told me that I will only need to pay the revision fee of $1895 and take down my negative yelp review. There was a nurse in the room who can confirm this. I agreed. I met the manager Alicia on the way out. She told me she would call to schedule my revision appointment. Then once again, disappointment and broken promises. Just like the disappointment I laid out in my first review. Now she is telling me they will not honor what I was promised and charge me additionally, arms - $3,000 fat transfer - 4,000 Revision to Flanks/Surgical Fee - $1,895 Acting as if I'm getting a discount by saying they will only charge me a Total of: $6,895 Mind you, I originally paid $15,000 for full body Lipo with BBL. But on day of surgery, Dr said I did not have enough fat for BBL so he talked me into doing Lipo on my hip dips only. I was very disappointed but agreed. They refunded me $8500 so I ended up paying $6500. Now they want to charge me another $6,895 which is $14,000 in total of what I would pay them. How is my original quote of $15,000 for full body Lipo with BBL compare to $14,000 for only arm and hip Lipo with fat transfer to hips. Those numbers do not make sense in comparison to what I would receive. This business is a scam and manipulating in multiple areas. I do not have an issue with the Dr Hegstrom. He was nice, fair and willing to fix my issues. My issue is with management and their business practices. I feel as if I waisted $6500 and so much time, energy and stress, just to look worst. I'm in the process of contacting the California State Bar to review my options.

I am diabetic and take a lot of insulin to help control it the best that I can. My goal was to find out if this could help control my diabetes better. I also told two of my doctors at Kaiser about the surgery and they suggested getting the surgery if I was a candidate. Before the surgery I also could not lose the weight but could not gain more weight. It was like I stuck with how my body looked. I had my surgery on March 10th. I do not remember that much because I was in what they referred to as the "Twilight Zone." I do remember having a conversation with them at the beginning and then waking up hours later to find out it was completed. I returned two days later for the first of what would be many post-op appointments. The first thing I remember from Dr. Friedlander was him telling me, "Well the love handles are gone." That was when I got a look at myself and I was amazed at the results. It has now been almost three weeks since the surgery and I have had an opportunity to see before and after pictures. It is like night and day. You can easily see the difference and it will only get better with time. It was like I lost my "dad bod" and now have a "beach bod." But more importantly my blood sugar levels are lower, better controlled and I am taking less insulin. I have talked to one of my doctors at Kaiser about the blood sugar readings and they are happy with the results.
