It was brought back in worse condition than we took it. First, the replaced #4 injector and #4 sparkplugs were never even plugged in. A bolt was broken off on another piece and the check engine light was still on. WE found those problems ourselves and fixed them, but it still had a very bad miss in it and the motor was shaking and it was backfiring through the intake. I contacted Mr. Webster. He was very nice and he said it would be taken care of on Monday. So, they came and got it on Monday and Alex told us that 2 of their other mechanics looked at it and the rings were probably stuck. I was very upset but still wanted to be fair. I was willing to pay for some of the bill but felt we were owed a partial refund. In all fairness, they agreed and gave us a partial refund. So the truck was returned with them telling us we would need to replace the motor. We looked into replacement motors and the ONLY reason we didn't purchase it was because my son couldn't go get it for us this weekend. My brother then said he would look at it. Thank God he did because it wasn't the motor at all!!! Within 15 minutes he found the problem. The exact same #4 sparkplug they replaced had the white plastic busted off and the #4 sparkplug wire had a large crack in it. I'm furious! Alex assured me 2 mechanics checked the work of the first mechanic and found nothing wrong, except the rings were probably stuck. Neither of them could have even looked or they would have found the problem!!! This just about cost us SEVERAL thousand dollars and it wasn't even the motor. I wouldn't believe anything they tell you. Better watch them or you may be spending tons of money that is not at all necessary. All I know is that there are at least 3 of their mechanics that I wouldn't let touch anything of ours EVER!!!

A coworker of mine suggested Webster Tire and Auto and mentioned their loyalty program. As my car was in dire need of an oil change, along with getting a new battery, I figured this was as good a time as any to swing by Webster. I went into the service center and met up with Don who was very friendly and provided a good overview of the loyalty program. With the loyalty program, which costs $100, you get five oil changes AND, get this, they will come by your home or work and pick up your vehicle (although I'm sure there is some distance limitation). So I made an appointment with Don and a few days later, while my car was parked at work, they came by, picked up my car and brought it in for service. They texted me a summary of the initial inspection which I thought was really cool. After all the work was completed, they returned my freshly washed car back to work and called me to close out the bill. What service ! I'm a sold loyalty customer and will be signing up the other two cars ! Thanks Don & Webster Tire & Auto !

This also knocked out the cruise control with about 20 more hours of travel ahead of us. Anyone that has had vehicle issues while traveling understands how stressful that can be - especially when you are out of town and dependent on a service center you have no relationship with. It was about 10 am when we "randomly" found Effingham Auto on a Saturday morning. They closed at noon. Explaining my situation, they immediately took it in, performed the diagnosis and determined a couple sensors needed replacement. The gentleman explained how the sensors impacted the vehicle's system and said the codes were cleared and that I could chance to see if they came back on or they would be able to get the parts and complete in about an hour. We were back on the road by noon with the issues resolved and I felt was at a fair price. I am so appreciative of Effingham Auto and their service.
