This review is LONG overdue!…read more I have been seeing Krystelle Rain regularly for 9 years now. I had previously tried to color and trim my own hair for years, and it was the color and consistency of straw. I was a bit embarrassed for a professional to see the dreadful state my hair was in, but Krystelle was warm and non-judgmental. I'm shy and have a lot of social anxiety, but immediately felt comfortable with her! Her expertise and knowledge were evident, and I felt confident that I was in capable hands. The color process was flawless. Krystelle carefully assessed my hair and recommended a base and highlights that perfectly suited my skin tone. The end result was beyond my expectations! The color was vibrant, beautifully blended, and looked incredibly natural. Ever since, she has never failed to amaze me. I have very fine, prematurely grey hair that is so unmanageable. Every month Krystelle works her magic, and makes me look younger, polished and just much better overall! My hair used to be the bane of my existence, and now I get SO many compliments on how good it looks! Twice in those 9 years I ended up seeing other stylists (Krystelle was on maternity leave) and I was SO disappointed with the results. I don't think I can ever see another another stylist again! For anyone in search of the best hair stylist and colorist, I wholeheartedly Krystelle. Her talent, creativity, and friendly demeanor make for an unforgettable salon experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

sooooo long overdue, here it goes!!…read more I found Krystelle through a few different connections, all of which I trusted so I eagerly booked my first appointment (this was back in 2021?) At the time her studio was just down the street from me in Walnut Creek. Little did I know that I would have amazing hair transformations time after time, AND a lightweight therapist LOL. Since then I've followed Krystelle to her salon(s) in Danville and will certainly continue to her new salon in Alamo. Why?? Well my hair in itself gets SO many compliments. But beyond looking fabulous, Krystelle is so patient and so kind. Sometimes I go in with specific and odd requests, sometimes I have no idea what I want and I just entrust her to do whatever. In either situation, she listens to my needs, my curiosities, all of my random thoughts. She is also an EDUCATOR. She takes the time to tell me why certain things could work/ wouldn't work, and why. So I actually feel more informed about my hair and my hair decisions. I always look forward to those hours in her chair because SELF CARE is the best care and I always feel brought back to life in more ways than one!

I will definitely refer her to anyone I know!

I had one very bad experience that had left me hopeless until I found Emma. Emma was able to match my highlights that were previously done in Southern California before I had relocated. She is very skilled and talented with a very sweet and professional demeanor. I have unruly curly hair that Emma has also been able to trim and blowdry excellently with her gentle touch. She really shows how much she cares through her close attention to detail.

She is great and has been cutting and coloring my hair and giving me great styling and hair care advice always. Lisa is positive and helpful and listens to you, she wants to be sure you're happy with your hair. I get lots of compliments all the time on my hair. I have a slight cowlick and she knows just how to make it stay under control. I trust her and like the sweet, caring person she is and I know that anyone interested in great hair and a great hair dresser will not be disappointed with Lisa! Also, everyone at the salon is very friendly and knowledgeable and it's a very nice atmosphere when you are there. Recently she tried several new hair products by Kerastase - which were amazing! I would say the best by far with all other great recommends she has also given in the past. Also, Monica Ryan, esthetician, is wonderful. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable about skin and her genuine intentions are to help you ensure your skin is the best it can be. She does great brows and waxing and takes her time to ensure they are just right. My brows tend to grow straight across, but she has an amazing way to make them appear to look as arched as they can in their own way without compromising the way they grow and the shape balance with my face. I also trust and enjoy her genuineness and care for her customers. I had an acne breakout a few years ago and she worked and followed up with me to help me to resolve that. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with any of her facials, hair or skin services.
