It is the cleanest most well-presented halal meat shop you will ever experience and the entire United States. I have been to numerous places Throughout the United States in various states and haven't even come close to anyone with this level of service. All of the guys are excellent, they grill any meat for you for $3 extra per pound and it is so fresh and nice. Keep up the great work, I wish you guys years and years of success and I hope people follow your example of how a business should be run and how halal meat butcher shops and meat shops overall should be. If a manager happens to find themselves accidentally on the selling floor, they avoid eye contact like their lives depend on it. They have discontinued many name brands and have substituted their new store brands, like Bowl and Basket, and Paperbird, which is hit and miss in quality. Wholesome Pantry is good. The self checkout area is filthy. But the help in this area has gotten more consistent if you don't mind bad attitudes. The parking lot is congested due to a bad design, which funnels all traffic past the front of the store. The prices are decent, but many prices are marked wrong on the shelves, especially the sale tags. If you check the mistakes on your receipt, you will find the total works out in favor of the store every time. Overall, you get the feeling that because the store is busy despite the fact that everyone hates it, they know they have you. This means that you will be treated with contempt. Your presence here is a burden, and you better just take what you get. The two stars are for the location, some of the prices, and the small shopping carts.

I thought that was weird since it was 9:30am, and all the ShopRite stores that I have patronized over the last decade or so (Parsippany, West Orange, West Caldwell, Mt. Laurel and Cinnaminson) open their lottery services at 8:00am. So, I asked a staff member there if the lottery services were available. She snapped at me, "The Lottery is not open." I was taken aback by her tone and disrespect. I chose to not address and just leave the store. If I had caused a scene there because of her disrespect, they would have called the police on me and the police in Delran, NJ to date do NOT like us African Americans. This staff member was being lazy and approved by management to NOT provide services to customers which I am sure is against corporate policy. I am not seeking anything here. I am just disappointed that the services in the Delran, NJ ShopRite are NOT available to all customers at the approved times. I will avoid using this ShopRite going forward. Please do better ShopRite.
