Went to Edwin Watts to look for a new putter grip. The nice thing was they had a putting green with lots of different grips and putts to try but I was looking for some assistance and got none. There were 5 employees and 5 customers in the shop and despite being there for 10 minutes or so couldn't seem to find someone who'd be interested in helping me out. Ultimately I found a grip I liked and would've bought and paid for it to be put on my putter but instead I bought it online and will have to try and put it on by myself. read more

My husband scheduled an appointment today 4/3/2026 to be fitted for golf clubs, but the experience was very disappointing. During the entire 45 minutes he was there, he received very little attention. Only two clubs were brought out for him to try, and after being told a third would be brought, the employee never returned. He ultimately left without completing the fitting due to the lack of service. Overall, a frustrating and unprofessional experience. read more

Not the best service in the club repair area. Waited for about 30 min to get an answer about installing a shaft and timeframe as 2 guys were working on 1 set of regrip and talking to the customer. Didn't even acknowledge son and I waiting. Went to pga tour store and got it done in 30 min. read more

Horrible customer service. Was not greeted or offered help when we arrived. Salesman was too busy watching golf on the TV. Fair warning NO men's size smalls in the entire store. Went up to the counter to purchase a golf glove and the guy behind the counter never looked at us or greeted us. He just grabbed the glove, scanned it and said $14. They weren't busy AT ALL so clearly this guy does not know customer service. Not spending any more money here. read more

These guys are helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I was in a jam and needed to replace custom irons asap. They took the time to regularly update me on the status and made sure they were exactly what I ordered. I've going through other big box stores in the past and my experience wasnt out of Galaxy, if you know what I mean. I've bought multiple sets of golf clubs at EW and I've never had an issue. Staff always asks if I need help and let's me look without harassing me if I'm just looking but when I'm ready with questions they're always there to help with anything I ask. I've referred multiple people to them and will continue. read more

Well, I decided to go to the golf store to look for some equipment because I did it want to shop with my daughter and I'm playing with some colleagues next week. Since Golfsmith closed in Austin, I was interested in going to a store that had everything and I was not disappointed. Upon entering, I witnessed a huge store filled with a vast assortment of golf products from most of the manufacturers displayed strategically. In essence, I was in a "golf product" heaven which was good because I was Iue to purchase my bi-annual Mizuno Mp iron set. So, I then roamed around the store especially in the Mizuno and Wilson Staff sections looking for forged irons and fairway woods. I do like looking for products without being hassled; however, I do not like being ignored when I am about to purchase a product. When Golfsmith was open in Austin, the cashier greeted all customers that entered. Also, the salesman that covered a certain area would introduce themselves as you entered that area and then let you look by yourself. Today, I was not greeted when I entered because the employees were talking to themselves, and a salesman never approached me to see if I was interested in purchasing new clubs or providing helpful information on the existing ones. Also, the Mizuno section was incomplete because it was missing 2 forged irons sets along with showcasing available drivers. In fact, the store was inconsistent with there inventory and how it was arranged. Every 2 years I reward myself with a custom fit set of Mizuno irons either at Golfsmith or the Golf Ranch in Georgetown because they treat the golfers well when they are in their store. Since Golfsmith does not exist anymore, I primarily use the Golf Ranch in Georgetown and I was reminded why I purchase items from the Golf Ranch because the owner believes in treating his customers well. Finally, my wife purchases various golf items for me, and she recently surprised me with a Scotty Cameron putter from EW. I hope she did not have to ask anyone for service. read more

Just had an amazing experience at EW. Went in asking to get my clubs shortened and basically walked out w not only a free lesson but all my money in my pocket. They were extremely accommodating, courteous and helpful. They analyzed my swing, gave me very sound advice and honestly added 15-20 yards to my irons. This store has the best of everything. Great customer service! I called from California on the beginning of our trip, needing two clubs replaced shafts. They ordered them and were there and installed as we arrived in San Antonio. My husband wound up purchasing a whole new set of clubs as well. It seems like this might have been a great golf store at one time, but it's pretty dated now. Their new iron sets are displayed okay along the outer wall. They have a pretty decent selection of used clubs but they aren't organized very well. You basically have to check each display section to see what's there. I actually stopped in to see what kind of golf apparel they had and unfortunately it was slim pickings. There wasn't any organization to their clothes and it was a very small selection. Their shoe section was even more disorganized. There were so many empty spots on the shoe wall that it looked like they were going out of business. They had tables with boxes of shoes stacked on them that you just had to dig through. I lost patience digging through random merchandise and left. It's these kind of experiences that have led people, including myself, to shop online instead of brick and mortar stores. read more

David) called today to inquire about the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 and I was met with a firm "your wasting my time" tone, agitated breathing, and long abnormal hold times. Well, guess what?
