I was shopping for clubs for my son last minute before he left town for summer. Needed them in an a day and Jose the asst mgr was incredibly helpful. He could not find the clubs we wanted but gave a nice discount for more expensive clubs. I grabbed them then my son noticed the driver was righty not lefty as needed. José went out his way to meet me and swap the clubs. This was a mistake by them but he made the correction seamlessly. Clearly focused on making us happy. Miami is hard place to find people who care about service and José stood out in his extra efforts across the board!!! read more

Walking into this place is instantly uncomfortable. Most of the staff mainly 60+, act like they hate their jobs, speaking down to you as if you've never played golf before. The old man at the front is the worst offender, with a rude, condescending attitude that makes you want to turn around and walk out. The only saving grace is the tallest man who works there l couldn't tell you his name but he's genuinely friendly, helpful, and makes you feel welcome. Excellent selection. Needed a few clubs to finish a starter set for an 11 year old. Juan was very helpful and found some discounted clubs knowing he's going to grown out of this set quickly. The most rude sales people I have ever met in a golf shop . It's like they don't even see you come in . Wanted to buy an Adidas Men's Codechaos 22 Golf Shoe. But are not wearing socks ,so i asked if they have a sock I can wear to fit the shoe . With so much disbelieve on his face he told me , "you can buy socks and then fit them " Wow you're selling shoes . I have been to the store in Orlando , that was a really pleasant experience . Pathetic, Staff at this Edwin Watts location were the biggest nonchalant pea brains. Passively rude, and semi incompetent. I am there to pick up my rental set. Mook one is leaning against the back counter looking at his phone and occasionally glancing up at the tv monitor broadcasting live golf. I wait for the "can i help you? It never comes, so i pivot to hi i am here to pick up a rental set. He saunters over in 1st gear and eventually asks me my name. With all the diligence of a third grader he finally has all the parts he needs to saunter off to the back of the store. He is out of site. I casually go outside and occasionally take a status peek for any change in the situation. Finally and image appears. In and equally impressive pace as our earlier mook, mook two appears But mook two is low to the ground and thusly has a shorter stride. Tick tock goes the time. I have plenty of time, so there was no need to get stern with these two fellow. The uber driver has my whole family with 3 kids and a dog waiting patiently. Finally the moment I've been waiting for. Not so fast future renters (We are all captive to this joint so you are indeed future renters. I have forgotten something The inspection! With the detail of a surgical nurse he surveys each club. Checking each box and announcing the brand and the iron. Its became so monotonous that i started barking out the year of the club and the tour players that use them. Every year, I travel to Doral for my annual golf trip with my dad. This year, the travel case for my golf clubs finally wore out. Part of the bag ripped open. After 6+ years of service, it was time to find a new golf travel bag. The first place I checked was the pro shop at Doral. The prices were expectedly exorbitant: $300 for their top-of-the-line Trump Doral branded bag and $250 for their other cases, which will were all quite nice, but overpriced IMO. I think the others were Club Glove, one of the top brands in golf travel bags. One of the golf cart attendants told us about the Edwin Watts golf shop, which is located very close to Doral. We headed there after lunch on Friday and went straight towards the back, where the golf travel cases are located. The store had a bunch of boxes and about a half dozen bags on display. Pretty much their entire inventory was right there on the showroom floor. Freddie Mangum, the store manager, assisted us. He was very helpful. The store had golf travel bags from as low as $49.99 to as much as $200+. I was impressed with the wide variety of golf bags to choose from. Freddie told me that his shop sells 350 travel bags per month alone. It definitely has to do with Doral being right across the street and Miami International Airport close-by. I ended up going with a high quality Ogio bag (the "Yeti" model). It was the last one on the rack. As a friendly gesture/courtesy, Freddie threw in a 10% discount. That was very nice of him. I agree with the store employees and recommend if you are searching for a golf travel case, to purchase one of the higher quality ones. You get what you pay for. You need to protect your investment (golf equipment). Because this Edwin Watts golf shop sells so many travel bags, I think it would be a good idea if they moved their travel bag section to a bigger, more accessible area. Currently, the travel bags are located in the back hallway near the offices and restrooms. As we were looking at the golf bags, we kept running into people either going into or out of the offices and restrooms. Buyer beware. Looked for shirt for my husband's birthday. Only found 1 size large in print I liked. At the counter I asked if he didn't like it could I return it. He said yes, and proceeded to ring me up. After completing he said, it could be exchanged or returned for credit. I said I'd want a refund because you don't have this shirt in a XL and I don't see any other prints I like. He said there plenty of shirts for him to choose from -bs there were no other great looking shirts. He said too bad. What kind of service is that. I had not left the counter and he would not refund the shirt. Ridiculous, petty and dishonest. Will never shop at Edwin Watts Doral!! read more

It seems like every time I walk into this store no one wants to help, unless you're in the market for a new set of clubs. The staff is not very friendly. I was just there to regrip my putter and even thought the grip cost me almost $40, the staff acts as if they're doing you a favor. It just plain ridiculous. read more

Store is clean and pretty neat for its small size. The staff was courteous and non aggressive which i really like. The only reason i'm giving it 3 stars is because i felt their prices we're pretty high compared to other commercial golf shops. But like i said for its size it is kept pretty organized. read more

Well let me begin with , i was sent there by my golf instructor. He did warn me don't let them up sell you on clubs cause your begginer set is perfect to learn you just need jumbo grips and 1 inch extensions. As soon as i walked in it was hey your clubs are beginners and we dont reccomend extensions . I answered thanks but I'm a beginner so i just need to go else where . Quickly they respond well we can do it just drop them off ,pick them up tomorrow. 6 extensions and 6 grips were $150 i had no complaints and gladly paid for it. 1 week later my grips start getting loose . I consult with several coaches and players that are more experienced than i am and i explained that maybe its my clubs cause there beginners. All responded no thats just bad work. I tried taking it back to them and there response was not responsible. Well i took my clubs to another competitor golf shop and what was very obvious as soon as they took the grips off is that the work Edwin Watts doral did was highway robbery the extensions were loose and the taping was done by a bigger amateur than me. Sorry but i feel like i was taken advantage of because they thought this idiot will never know or be back. They got half right they ripped me off once but true i will never be back there again and i advise find a more proffesional shop. Sorry for the bad review but they deserve worst. Large variety of golfing equipment. I was looking for a new putter and went to the back and just started getting a feel for all the putters. They respected my privacy and let me try about 10 different putters. Staff answered my questions and were not pushy. Even pointed out my alignment issues. Picked out a brand new Ping Zing. So easy to align. I never would have picked that one just by looking at it bc it looks like more of a players club. But it works well for me. If not given the time to find the right club I would have just walked away without making a purchase...now my putting is coming along. read more
