The paddle felt off right out of the packaging, and we simply requested an even exchange. The store manager, Angela or Angelica, was unhelpful and dismissive throughout the interaction. They brought out a replacement paddle from the back that had clearly been opened, dirty and the face of the paddle had clear signs of use. The handle wrap was missing and dirty. We asked for another, pointing out that this one had no original packaging either. When doing the exchange she told us that without the original wrapping, our paddle couldn't be resold and therefore couldn't be exchanged. When we mentioned that they were just about to give us a paddle in the same unwrapped condition, she had no response. We also pulled up the official return policy, which states: "For other items, we may accept returns for items that are clean and in good condition, even if they have been opened, tried on, or tested." There is no mention that pickleball paddles are excluded or that original packaging is required for these items. Despite calmly explaining our position, she told us, "Being difficult is not going to get you anywhere," even though we repeatedly made it clear that we weren't trying to be difficult we were just asking for fairness. She finally agreed to the exchange, but not without saying, "I'm going to do this one time, but don't do it again," in a tone that felt more like we were children being reprimanded than paying customers. Overall, this was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. We expected consistency with store policy and basic respect neither of which we received.

As a disclaimer, I had never touched a golf club or stepped onto a driving range. In essence, I am a total beginner, which was refreshing for both the instructor and me. It was not until recently, I realized Josiah Singletary, elite golf instructor, went above and beyond to ensure my time at Rick Smith's was more than pleasant. The golf center is a business partner of Trump Doral, therefore it is on the property. Josiah took me on a tour and went around the different ballrooms and conference centers. I attached the pictures I took while I was on the tour. Note that the pictures are before the event planners organize the rooms to give a better appreciation for the luxurious space available. Regardless of your political affiliation, it was very apparent that every aspect of the Trump Doral facilities and experience had not been forgotten, with the finest attention to detail present in every aspect of the resort. Josiah took the time to highlight certain aspects of the architecture that he thought was interesting. No politics; just golf, luxury, and relaxation. I appreciated Josiah's talent for time management because the transition from the tour to golfing lessons was seamless. He recommended the order of instructions: putting, chipping, and driving. I agreed and we started with putting. As a beginner, I was unaware of the intricacies at play, especially when Josiah utilized his equipment. In addition to the equipment, he understands that some students are visual learners so he would incorporate slow motion videography. It was immediately apparent that his advanced knowledge of the game enables a focused observation of your stroke. In my case, I had "micromovements" that once corrected, improved my game significantly. The clips I uploaded were among some of the videos that were recorded after his suggestions for body corrections. It is this positive reinforcement of the contact sounds between the balls and club that the sky is the limit with your own development. My personal tip is to ask about the x-factor, which will put you ahead of most beginners! Overall, I would give Josiah Singletary the highest compliments as an instructor. I recommend him and the Rick Smith's Golf Performance Center in the highest regard.

You can even ask for water through your scan order. Food always comes out quickly and is at the right temperature. The atmosphere is fun with comfortable seating. You can choose between the high tops or a couch settings. Staff is always friendly from the moment you check in until you leave. Staff is always available to help. They help you adjust the fans or heaters whichever is needed. I always look forward to coming here with friends or family and I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a fun active day.

When he called me to let me know the bikes were ready he said one bike was $75 and the other was $30. However, when I went to pick them up I was charged an additional service and wash $40 for one of the bicycles that wasn't mentioned ahead of time. The employee had even told me ahead of time that if it was more than $100 to just get a new bike. I would have preferred they were more transparent with the cost, as I asked several times. This is a great place to grab a snack, drink, or a souvenir when visiting Vizcaya. It is located…read more on the north side of the Main House, next to the Swimming Pool Grotto in the basement. This area was once the lower floor recreational rooms of the house enjoyed by James Deering. These rooms for men's recreation once housed the bowling, smoking, and billiard rooms. You must purchase a museum admission to have access to the gift shop and cafe. In 2017 Hurricane Irma did significant damage depositing three feet of water into the gift shop and cafe. It took three and a half years for this part of the museum to reopen. The historic leaded glass doors alongside the swimming pool and the terrazzo floor in the Smoking Room were restored and the stainless-steel sinks and kitchen tables were refurbished while kitchen equipment was added. Today the newly renovated Vizcaya Café and Gift Shop is managed by A Joy Wallace Catering with an eye towards healthier grab and go food choices. The menu includes appetizers, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, wine, coffee, tea, and desserts. I particularly love that they carry a selection of Tea Forte. There is also a children's menu. Many of the dishes are prepared with herbs grown in the garden. You can eat inside or outside with a view of the garden. The gift shop has a selection of carefully curated items inspired by the history, architecture, and gardens of Vizcaya. They sell books, candles, tea, coffee, ornaments, vases, decorative items, models, mugs, dishes, t-shirts, postcards, towels, coasters, and more. I especially loved a glass monarch butterfly you can hang in the window. It is obvious that the museum put a lot of effort not only into the space of their retail area and cafe but also into the variety of items they sell and the food and drinks they serve. This is one of the nicest museum cafe and gift shops that I have had the pleasure of visiting.

Needless to say it would have been nice to have been advised the store had relocated. I took the club home and realized they delivered the wrong club. When I called they told me it was wrapped in plastic and had no way to check the club. Interesting, the plastic the club came in was transparent. I was told I would have to return the club in order to get the club I ordered. Finally I just told them to keep it. I recommend you run from Club Champion!!!!
