I would like to highly recommend our contractor Parsley Exteriors for all of your roof repair,…read morereplacement, and siding needs! Tyler was excellent to work with and advocated for us getting a new roof after our insurance company would only approve a repair. Tyler has a vast knowledge of this field and working with insurance companies to navigate the red tape and stand up for you. After numerous adjusters and claims representatives (more than I care to count or remember) he helped us win our claim and our insurance company paid for an entire new roof, new gutters, power washing of the siding, new gutters, and eventually painting of the entire house. Remember this was after I was told numerous times they would approve a repair only. Without Tylers guidance and support this would not have been possible. When it came time for the repair Tylers team arrived on time, worked incredibly hard, ensured we were completely satisfied, and ensured a great clean up took place before they left. Tylers company is just not your average contractor but one you can trust. Tyler treats you like family and not just a number. After our repair was completed one of our neighbors used them as well for her roof replacement and she stopped by to tell us how thankful she was that we recommended Parsley Exteriors and how great Tyler was to deal with. She was so happy with their service. I can't recommend Parsley Exteriors and Tyler enough and we could not be happier with choosing them to help restore our home back to pre storm damage condition. Thank you Tyler! Give them a call today and tell them Josh and Beth sent you!

In 2011 a tornado damaged our slate roof. The roof was over 100 years old. Realizing that slate…read moreroofs were not common, I let my insurance company pick the company to replace it. They picked DWC Restoration (now DWC Roofing). The sales person was friendly and worked well with the insurance company. The first problem was an employee took the scrap copper home (about $600 worth). I raised a fuss and they brought it back. Next, the copper they put on for the ridge caps looks like copper foil. I am glad I had them bring the copper back, because I had the material to prove the new material was not the same. The slate matched nice when they were done, but they never repaired a copper gutter. They said afterwards they did not know how and sorry for your luck. Years later, we had damage to our plaster ceiling. The flashing around the chimney had been leaking. One of the pictures below is an icicle that formed between the chimney and the rafters! That is when the nightmare began. DWC would not answer emails or phone calls. I had to go back through my home owners insurance to apply pressure to get the leak repaired. 4 months later, DWC sent someone to repair the chimney. I had to help the repair because DWC was too cheap to send more than one person. I had to repair the inside plaster damage myself. To add more problems, years later a piece of slate broke off the top row of slate. I went to replace that piece of slate and discovered the crew never put on the last row of slate!! I had to repair the slate myself because DWC had let me know that their slate roof only had a 2 year warranty and they would no longer support repair of the slate. Amazing that some companies warranty shingle roofs for 20 years and DWC won't warranty a slate roof more than 2. Anyway, when I went to repair that piece of slate, I saw there were gaps in the top row of slate. I did not bother going back through DWC, since the home office never would answer my calls. I went back to the insurance company. The new DWC salesman contacted me and sent two great employees that finished the job. Luckily, I had kept the left over slate and they used it. Unfortunately, now I have plaster peeling where water leaked through the gaps in the slate that I will have to repair - because DWC does not stand by their work.

DWC did a great job on our new roof, completing it in 4 hours! The job looks great and the clean up…read morewas amazing! Eric is a personable, professional project manager. His attention to detail was impressive. Thanks for a job well done!

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK WITH. They're scam artists....that's why they refuse to accept credit…read morecard payments and that's why they refuse to post their address anywhere. Great Gutters was asked to fix my gutters and metal flashing. They billed me $171 for the work, but nothing was done. They spent less than 10 minutes on the job and screwed one screw in the gutter. They never bothered to fix the metal flashing that was hanging down. I told them that the job was fixed correctly. They ignored 10 messages from me, and missed 8 different appointments to fix the job correctly. After over a month of blowing in the wind, the metal flashing finally broke off. When they finally came out a 2nd time to fix it, they did nothing other than rip of the remaining piece of metal, then billed $135 for repairing the SAME gutter I already paid them to fix, $100 for a siding repair that THEY damaged with their own ladder, and $20 for a soffit repair that wasn't done. They then called me numerous times from SIX different phone numbers harassing me for payment for work that was never done. Now I have to pay $200 to a different repairman due to damages they caused.

Obviously I provided my address but also provided my cellphone number just in case they needed to get a hold of me. I understand that there are circumstances beyond one's control that prevent people from fulfilling an arranged/agreed upon service, but I have NEVER heard back from them. So far it has been over a week. No apology. No attempt to re-schedule (not that I would). Nothing!
