If 'ifs' and 'buts' were candy and nuts...well, they ARE candy and nuts at Freeman's. In fact, Everything is Candy and Nuts...and more! This place is wall to wall, covered with sweet candy confections and any nut you can think of. If I was still a kid, I would love this place. I am an adult and I love this place. Walk in the front door and you are immediately struck with the tempting aroma of roasted nuts and sugary sweet sugar. The wall on your right, closest to the door, is lined with various Nut Butter creations. All are excellent tasting and affordable. I usually pick up the Massive Tub of Chunky Unsalted Peanut Butter. Nothing is added to this Peanut Butter, just fresh roasted peanuts. The way it should be. My favorite peanut butter by far and for a steal of a price. The great selection of Unsalted, Just Nuts, Nut Butters keep me coming back on a monthly basis....cashew, almond & more! Added note, they do have more than just Nuts and Candy here. They have a nice selection of Spices (that you can't get at a regular Grocery Store), Organic Honeys (Comb included!) and BBQ Sauces among other food items that can't be found nearby. This place is awesome. I dare you to spend less than 15 minutes in this store! read more

I love this little old-time store. I have been coming here since I was a kid and now I make trips back to Conshohocken just to stop in. I love to purchase baking and cooking supplies here as well as pick out a novelty item or two. You can't help but smile when walking through. :) read more

Apparently my late grandpop used to get munchies here before the family came to visit the house. When I officially moved here it took me awhile to finally check this place out and I was so glad when I finally did. They have a nice selection of old fashioned candy, FANTASTIC fudge, dried fruit & nuts and definitely try out their homemade peanut butter. I always have to be careful to not get too much here because it can be soo easy to indulge too much. read more

This is the place to be! Been shopping here for over 20 years, remembering the older setup with the smell of fresh roasted peanuts and bulk nut bins. Some still there. Still awesome. Wow-this place is great! The candy lover's fantasy land. Also, lots of very good sugar free chocolate and the best peanut butter I've ever had. I make a point of getting here every time I am in the area. There are lots of dried fruits as well, which comes in handy on the road. There are also lots of old-fashioned candies, like candy buttons on strips of paper. Lots of nostalgia here. read more

*They don't do coupons, even though it's "advertised"* this place is nice! all your cooking/baking needs. Plus "fresh" peanut butter spread (and nutella). And, Of course all the chocolate and candy from like the last 5 decades.. Stuff I didn't even know about! I'd say it's relatively very cheap for local, fresh, 'gourmet' chocolate. And I like their chocolates. Not love. but definitely will be going there often to get something 'different' read more

This place is amazing!!!!! Everything you could ask for.... homemade natural peanut butter, nuts, dried fruit, candy, chocolate, fudge, old fashion candy, sugar free candy, cooking ingredients, trail mix, popcorn, gift baskets, syrup, sauces, gag gifts, dog treats..... I could go on forever! It's a MUST visit place in Conshohocken, even if you don't live near by, it's easy to get to and worth the trip. The best part about it is everything is in small bags so you can get samples of everything or load up on all the goodies for next to nothing. I stop here once every two weeks to either get myself stuff or to get gifts for my family. The old fashioned candy is my grandparents favorite. They do an awesome fall fest too for families.
