Save your money and go with a law firm who cares about getting results and does not treat you like a billable hour. June 30, 2022, I retained the firm with Felecia L. Walker as the attorney to handle my case. The office was nice, the personnel friendly. This should have only taken about 6 months and no more than $5,000. After my initial $2,500 retainer, things were moving slowly, and probate documents were not sent to me until August 8, 2022. A month or so later I kept calling to find out the status of my case. Ms. Walker was never available, and her assistant would say she would ask Ms. Walker and get back with me. I would have to call several times and received the voicemail most of the time with no response. I finally became frustrated not getting any response and started emailing. Same issue they were not responding promptly, and I would have to send follow-up emails. When I did get a call back there was always an excuse about personal issues coming up and she would get to my case soon. Below is the email I sent to Ms. Walker and her assistant on November 17, 2023. I am very disappointed in your service! The only time I hear from you is when you are billing me. I have sent several emails and called several times with no response, or you will check into it and call me back. I work with Attorneys on a daily basis in the U.S. and other countries and have never had these many issues. I chose your firm so I could separate my professional business from my personal business. On my initial call we discussed it would cost about $5,000 to get this settled. We are $13,500 later and the house issue is still not resolved. I need to know if there is enough money in the account to settle this case and what happens if I don't have anymore money? Ms. Walker left the firm on September 30, 2024, Edwards and Edwards assigned another attorney. The new attorney moved forward in a timely manner since I told her there was no more money. The final sets were taken in May of 2025, almost $20,000 later, and a very large lien that is more than the house is worth. If the case had been handled in a timely manner it would have saved me money, time and the lien would not be hanging over my head. I was nothing but a billable hour! read more

Does not communicate. Its like getting blood from a rock. Does not stand up for their clients, not at mediation, not at deposition. Never made it to court with Felicia from Edwards. She has no business practicing law when it affects peoples lives. My case is in total disarray because if her. Do not hire from this firm. read more

Wow! Read the other review and wish I had seen that before I hired Felecia. The one hour consultation ($300) went well and it was decided that Felecia would write a letter to the other party in an estate dispute. More than five weeks later and nothing. No responses to my two emails and two phone calls. None!!! I will now contact another attorney and hope for more professionalism. read more

waited one year to the day of the closing of my custody case to write this review. Only because I wanted to make sure that what I wanted to say was not done out of emotion and written with a clear head. I hired Felicia for a custody case for my daughter. She started off okay with the usual high and mighty lawyer facade. I thought it was fine and maybe that could work in my favor. And she's be good at this. It didn't take long for the condescending talks to start, not answering email or calls. I would ask for a road map of how the family court system works. This was my first time, and I had no clue. Problem is, i would call, then get emails back, which only led to more questions. Her communication is horrendous. The communication was clear when they wanted another 3500 dollars. Weeks would go with no communication. Meanwhile, I'm not seeing my daughter. Very tough position to be in when you want to see your child, and you get zero communication from the lawyer who is supposed to be your lifeline. Let's fast forward to the final mediation where Felicia did nothing to protect me. AT ALL. My daughters mothers lawyer bulldozed Felecia. I was in her office, and she was home and we were on a zoom call with the other parties. Said she forgot to come in to the office for this. I sat there helpless, just watching it unfold. Thinking, is this normal? Watching as my ex's lawyer was taking everything from me and Felecia just sat there. Shouldn't you be protecting me??? Nope. Not at all. Then when I lost everything I had, the mediation ended, there was still a few things that needed to be done, I didn't hear from Felecia for 30 days. I called, emailed, nothing. I had to go on a legal Website and finish it myself. I actually called another lawyer, got a consultation and when I told them I dealt with Felecia, I was told that was my first problem. They were very aware of her. Melissa, her legal secretary was equally as bad to deal with. When someone goes thru something like this, it's disheartening, life shattering, and life changing. Get a lawyer who is on your side and not just in it to make money. It's important for your well being and peace. We all heard stories about bad lawyers, I lump Felicia right up there with the worst of them. One year later, I'm still reeling in her ineffectiveness.
