Despite that, the attorney I initially met with appeared completely unprepared and had not reviewed the material beforehand. I was also required to travel to the Orange Park office instead of a closer location. Shortly after my initial consultation, I was informed that the attorney assigned to my case was no longer with the firm. I was then reassigned, but meetings were repeatedly rescheduled, including one that was changed the day before it was supposed to occur. The constant turnover, scheduling issues, and lack of preparation gave me very little confidence in the representation I was paying for. When I attempted to resolve the issue and request a refund, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Ultimately, I had to dispute the charges through my credit card company due to my concerns over the services provided versus what was charged. Based on my experience, communication, organization, and client preparation were significant concerns.

That said, we had a very good experience with Bill and the team. Both we and my elderly in-laws came in for estate plans. A personalized welcome sign greeted us in the lobby. The entire staff took covid precautions very seriously. It's clear that Bill and crew have done this many, many times, as Bill's spiels are clearly practiced and answer so many first-timer questions up front. Bill and his team members are all very patient and responsive to questions. Bill offered good alternatives for our particular situations. I appreciate that the firm is tied into a network of estate planners to help them stay abreast of changes to law. I also appreciated the choice between three levels of estate planning, and Bill's honesty in recommending a lower (and less expensive) level that would meet our needs. And for those who might need it, an option to join a customer care program that provides ready access to the forms resources for those who need it. This is one time when saying I won't be going back to a business is a good thing: it means I believe the job was done right the first time and so won't require a return visit.
