I've never seen the surgical skill I've witnessed as a reflection in the window as Dr. Fink twirled his instruments treating another patient. And my own experience is that their work is always high level and never any complaints. That said, I do have some suspicion that the dentist are always looking for more work than is justified, finding micro-cavities under old fillings and crowns. They try to show me on the x-rays but I can never see it. It's hard to find fault with such talented dentists, but this experience continues to play out after 90% of my semi-annual hygienist appointments. I've never had this kind of experience of unwavering follow-ups as I've had with this group. So, if you want access to this level of quality work, be prepared to make time in your schedule for the follow-up after the hygienist for work that seems like it's drumming up business. I'm still a customer. I find it hard to leave their skill-set behind. I have an appointment next week to fill a micro-cavity found under an old filling. At least I am able to let out some steam here on Yelp.

The office is super clean and welcoming. I also noticed you never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room to go back. Selma is the best she helped me with my own fear of the dentist. I told Ronnae the hygienists she is a kid whisperer. My 6yr daughter didn't cry once. I also love Jessica and Ladonna. She came in, looked at my mouth and didn't explain anything as to why they said I have a few cavities to get filled. I thought that was odd since the hygienist said my teeth looked great and I have good hygiene. I really think that they say you have cavities since it's a money maker or maybe tell you to get fillings before you actually need them. Needless to say, I'll be going elsewhere as I've been to dentists before that have done this as a money maker. For instance, he sent me to an orthodontist to pull out TWO teeth...however, he made a mistake and directed the orthodontist to pull out THREE teeth. When I complained to Dr. Lee about the mistake - he totally denied that three teeth were removed. After numerous complaints to Lee; which he ignored - I complained to my insurance company. He lied to to the insurance company, admitting that he pulled the THREE teeth. With that complaint Lee sent me a letter and refused to see me ever again.

The very first visit is an ASSESSMENT visit only. The hygienist takes numerous x rays, evaluates your teeth, and the dentist pops in to look at the radiology scans. I'll be honest - it's difficult to find time for myself let alone a dental appointment. I think it'd be reasonable to do a cleaning on the same visit as well. Perhaps it's for billing/reimbursements?
