Unbeknownst to me, this agency somehow obtained my policy from Baehler Insurance without my knowledge or approval. I tried to call on multiple occasions to speak to my new broker after finding out that my premiums had doubled, but he/she never returned my calls. I called over 10 times and left messages with no return calls. I called the Underwriter (ASI/Progressive), who informed me that only the agent who wrote the policy could cancel. I switched agents and continued to call to get my pro-rated premiums returned. Guess what? No calls back. No refund. I understand one call slipping through the cracks, but ten? That was intentional. To say this agency is bad is an understatement, god forbid something actually happen and I needed their assistance. I wouldn't walk away from this agency, I would run. As fast as you possibly can.

I would NOT recommend Edelman Financial Engines! When I initially met with my advisor, he had all…read morethe repugnant qualities and stench of a used car salesman. Just a lot of lip service! Against my better judgement, I decided to give him a try anyway. He and I had a couple of initial video chats and worked out a plan (backdoor Roth contribution strategy). However, once we filled out the paperwork to transfer/rollover my funds from my other bank and retirement accounts, it became increasingly more difficult to get in touch with him in order to execute on the plan. After several months with no movement and nothing getting done according to our initial plan, I came to the realization that he was indeed like a used car salesman who was only interested in getting my money and had no interest in actually servicing my accounts. Once I requested the accounts be closed so that I could go with another firm, I never received a call, email or any correspondence of any kind asking me why or offer to help with the transfer. Anyway, I am happy I decided to go with Edward Jones instead. Again, I would NOT recommend Edelman Financial Engines.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY. We came in two weeks before taxes were due. Diana said…read moreshe would have it done by the Saturday before they were due. We were exchanging emails and calls to check up, and she seemed confident in her ability to get the job done. Monday rolls around and she stops responding to all forms of contact. So we go in person. Taxes are overdue at this point. We are Informed that "corporate came and took all the papers" so they don't have anyone's information and they don't know who they were working with. They said you just have to call to let them know. BUT THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONES! When that was pointed out they said "oh yeah we don't have anyone at the front desk." WTF. Anyway, we are told to come back Wednesday and it'll all be done ready to sign. Whatever. We walk in Wednesday and some guy goes to the back to tell Diana we are here. Tell me why she gasps?! As if she's shocked that we are here for the appt she scheduled. She tells us "it's a mess back here just give me a minute to straighten up." Yeah ok. We wait 10 minutes before she brings us back, and guess what, it was still messy. Papers thrown across the floor near the shredder. "Cause corporate," or whatever. She says she did the federal but not the state yet. Yeah I bet she was frantically filling it out while "cleaning". After asking us random tax related questions that we are not expected to know since THIS ISNT OUR JOB, she started talking about how she's so experienced, and she's been doing this job for so long, and she's so good at her job. Then she says "ya know what, how bout you come back Monday and I'll have it all done ready to sign?" Heard that before. We agree just to leave. Next Monday rolls around. No call, no email, nothing updating us on the status. At this point we have no faith in her to get it done. So we don't waste our time driving down there to check. We call the office and miraculously someone answers. Guess what. SHE DIDNT DO THEM!!! She said she couldn't figure it out. Side note: we have very simple taxes. No crazy assets. No business. Just normal w-2. This place sucks. 0/10. And she had the audacity to try to charge us $230. After forgetting about us twice?? TLDR: just go to the one on base. She did it in less than an hour.
