I was really impressed by his knowledge of current financial events as well as political events and how they affect ongoing finances. I knew instantly he was going to be the right fit for me. I called to schedule an appointment with Wealth Management, and the staff was extremely prompt and professional. They had me scheduled within a matter of days for an in-office visit, which I had requested. (They also offered phone, zoom as well for my convenience, much appreciated). I am very happy to say that the front office staff when I got there were amazing. Very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Glenn did an excellent job at educating me, listening to my needs, and following through with multiple solutions for my financial needs. He had the heart of a teacher. Very professional, and knowledgeable, and broke things down in a way that I could understand. He was and has to this day been extremely prompt and on top of communications and administrative details. He treated me like a human being, was down to earth. This is huge for me, I'm a very "in-person" kind of guy and like to meet face-to-face when doing things of this nature. Trust is hard to come by these days. And so far, I have to say the team at Wealth Management has knocked it out of the park. Glenn also educates others in his spare time for free. What do I mean by this? He has dedicated time on top of his work to do a weekly financial podcast. He manages and produces this on his own. I'm in the tech background as well as multimedia and this is a time-consuming thing to do. Last year however, me & several others who went here submitted proper paperwork well within a reasonable timeline of filing on time. However, without even seeking permission, this office filed a filing extension & ignored a huge number of inquiries from me & a great number of others trying to get answers about our tax filing statuses. Dealing with continual issues of getting even basic responses to inquiries about why things were extended, when anything would be filed, etc was horrible to deal with. Taxes aren't something I ever wish to have to stress over which is why I went the more expensive route to hiring Jeff & his team here to take care of things. It wasn't until the end of the year til I received notification of successful filing having been done. Talk about stress, jeez! I also invested money with them, you know: stocks. Trusted them & have only ten cents left! So... They somehow invested my money & trust in things that tanked, despite my being told it wouldn't be invested in high-risk stocks. Understand it's a calculated risk but last year yielded generally lucrative increases in investments. Not when trusted with them though. Down to only ten cents. I don't suggest trusting them with your money. Additionally, just today I received a letter from them, this organization, saying that due to restructuring they wouldn't be fulfilling my taxes in the future. Basically receiving a corporate level "F you" with pretend diplomacy. I've yet to ask anyone else who used to file here if they've received the same type of passive aggressiveness after what they had to endure, but after such horrible interactions, nonsensical extensions & lack of responsiveness throughout basically an entire year, it seemed a little unnecessary to say the least. Obviously I wasn't going to stay with them so maybe such nonsensical passive aggressions make them feel better. Who knows. Figured this can serve as a warning for anyone else hoping to find a trustworthy place to trust your taxes to. I don't advise it but it's based on my own experience & having to apologize to others about them having the same lack of responses & overly delayed & extended fillings. I know I'm not alone in last year's experiences & I wish it wasn't something anyone I knew had to deal with. I was planning to go elsewhere anyhow obviously so hopefully one of my connections has a suggestion of somewhere trustworthy that can at the very least file on time & follow basic protocols of appropriate filings & communications.
