My wife's papers arrived a few weeks ago, right on schedule (it takes a year, but that's the government's fault). My main purpose in hiring a consultant was for the peace of mind of knowing I was not making more mistakes. Accordingly, I had a lot of questions for Patrick, and he was always prompt and available. We communicated by email, WeChat, and voice call. He was always good humoured, and he had the correct answers. I didn't make any more mistakes. You should know, though, that even though there is a consultant helping you, there is still a lot of work for you to do. You will still need to collect, translate, and notarize a lot of documents from various government offices, because a consultant cannot get them for you.
