They don't look down at me as I couldn't afford to buy those fancy light fixtures displayed in the front of the store. However, I found a few affordable products that I would like to outfit my house with. The saleswoman introduced herself as Yare as she showed me the product sales specs sheet on the Alcamo LED Chandelier (model 12285.02). That was a gorgeous light fixture with 8 integrated LED to stretch to 180 inches in length and can be curled to 75.5 inches height by 55 inches wide shaped as a dome. I would need a mansion to display this light. I was intrigued with the technology on how LED can illuminate in the form of a rope. I really thought that was fiber optic. Speaking of lights through a tube, I found an LED Bath Light by Modern Forms with the light tube on both sides of fixture. This light fixture with a cinema feel could jazz up my bathroom. If I add this to my bathroom, I would need to remodel the entire house. I'll keep that in mind on my next house. Yare gave me her business card and invited me to check on their website for additional lights that are not shown in the store. So, I browsed through LuminousTrends.com and found a couple of lamps as an addition to my existing lighting. I emailed her my question and she responded very quickly. Shopping at Luminous Trends is convenient. I can shop in person and online at ease.

This is a pretty amazing lighting store located in Sugarland, offering pretty spectacular products of all sorts. So it's very shiny and glitzy and gorgeous and definitely well worth the trip, especially if you happen to be in the plaza already. I like it here and I've been here on a number of occasions now. They're right next to one of our favorite Indian restaurants so we often end up browsing here afterwards. Their selection is amazing even though prices are a little high.

There was a variety of different chandeliers to choose from. Sel wasn't pushy at all, and he was very helpful and had great customer service. We decided to continue on to our original destination to make sure we were going to purchase what we really liked. When we got to our other location The store had way too many items and it was cluttered. We looked around, got back in our car, and went back to Houston Light Bulb and Lightning... and made our purchase! They have great prices and sales. They are a hidden gem. Customer service is great and genuine.

First, the one positive is the store, it's layout and ambience. It ended there. We bought a new…read morerange after electrical problems caused it to blow up, melting the area around it. Of course the one we selected was out of stock. Whether this was Sara's word or a con by the vendor we are not sure. However, we were expecting an immediate delivery. Day 8, it is still not here. My electrician called Tuesday and Wednesday ready to begin working. Sara likes manipulating words. For instance, Monday or Tuesday it should leave Dallas. Wednesday or Thursday it should get to the warehouse. Thursday or Friday it should be delivered. Friday between 11 and 11:30 it should be delivered. It is 2:30 now. At 2:00 some delivery person called about our address. He stated that the range was still at the warehouse. In every case where two days were given it was always the second day. Dealing with Chuck the salesman solved no problems. He did not expedite the process or attempt to provide a solution. Only empty promises. Now it looks like I have to postpone my electricians afternoon time since I am positive it will not come. By the way, the 'out of stock' one we replaced with a more expensive model. I believe this is a deliberate attempt to defraud the customer and whether done by Sara or Whirlpool it looks suspicious.

He was an incredibly nice, no pressure manager who gave us his honest opinion on what would work best in our home. He had beautiful display pieces and the entire time made us feel at ease. He didn't rush and spent his time making sure each part of the install was perfect. When there was a small issue, he drove back to resolve right away and did not go until it was remedied. I am the homeowner's wife, and we installed more than 48 light fixtures through this company…read more During the installation process, just one day after installation, a part of the fixture broke and fell, hitting my son. Thankfully, it did not cause serious injury, and at that time we chose not to escalate or take any legal action. However, the main chandelier is still defective -- bulbs continue to fall off, which is unsafe and unacceptable. Since it is installed on a very high ceiling, this is not something we can fix ourselves and requires proper warranty service. We have contacted the company 4-5 times, but they only make promises and never follow through. After receiving full payment, their lack of responsibility is extremely disappointing. If this issue continues to be ignored, we will have no choice but to share our full experience, including related photos, to accurately reflect the situation
