Craig's was contracted w my insurer & I had service w them in January so I reached out. I called Friday and was told the tech was on another call and would be by in an hour to an hour and a half. I let the dispatcher know: it's in the garage, not sure if that will be a problem? She said it wouldn't and he'd know what to do. I waited about three hours....no tech. Thankful I was in a warm home & not stranded somewhere so I called again: it's been three hours, can we just suspend this request until the morning? I forgot whether she said she would call me in the morning or I was to call her so I called about 6:00a, dispatch she had me scheduled for 9:00 but could move me up? I said sure: 8:00 is good or as soon as he could get here! Tim called at 7:50 "I'm here". I went out he took a look and we got it started, out of the garage and on to the street to his flatbed!! My hero!! Tim asked "you riding w me?" I figured I would, save me needing to get a ride to Blain's. Tim was quite personable & friendly!! Us yakking away made quick work of the brief 10 minute drive. Two senior citizens over 70 years old stuck on a Sunday on the side of the road and asked for a ride to a hotel or a bus stop after we dropped the car off at the repair shop and we were told no per the boss!!!!!! I can imagine if somebody treated his grandmother, mother like that!!!! Least humanitarian person I have ever met in the state of Wisconsin!

I was worried that since I was far from home, I'd be taken advantage of like you hear in so many stories of travel breakdowns. But that was not the case. Within 15 minutes they had diagnosed the problem and within 2 hours, they had me back on the road with a fair price. They weren't pushy at all, showing me how gnarly my air filter was and suggested I change it and that it will help with my gas mileage especially for this long trip. Knowing that the spark plugs haven't been changed since the car was new in 2004 I asked them to take a look for me, instead of taking advantage like they could have they said that there was still a lot of life in them. I'm grateful that we broke down near them. Great service all around.

When he got here, he didn't do what I asked him to! Instead, he told me what the real problem was, which was simpler and faster than what I had thought I needed, and he fixed my overheating in short order. He has a per-hour rate of 100 dollars and he pro-rated that for just needing part of it. What with throwing in labor and adding his own fluids and having all the right tools at hand, the whole thing was very reasonable.
