Totally satisfied customer. Very impressed. The entire sales process was quick (in person site inspection within 24 hours of my first call) and no pressure. Great showroom gives you a chance to mix and match ideas and prices. Installation was scheduled within days. Tech showed up on-time in a spring blizzard and completed everything quickly. Completely cleaned up work site... gave full demo of gear... tested safety features. Follow-up phone call confirmed our satisfaction. Billing was super easy. Prices were very reasonable. Our new door should last 25 years... otherwise I'd be a return customer. read more

In the past (going back several years) I've had nothing but excellent service from this company. But recently one of my garage doors was damaged when a landscaper's truck backed up into it. I called Ed's and they told me they could come out to look at it, but because my home is now outside their service area (it wasn't when they installed and serviced my doors and openers in the past) there would be a travel charge of $75. I agreed and a technician was dispatched to my home to evaluate the damage. I was also charged for an hour of labor (about another $175). I was told someone would get back to me with a repair estimate but weeks went by without a response. I contacted them and I was told they would get back to me. I've waited nearly two months now and still never got a response. At the very least they could have just told me to go elsewhere for service, but instead kept me hanging. This is NOT the same company I've dealt with in the past. read more

We had an emergency door failure due to a snapped spring on a freezing cold day. Ed's Garage Doors dispatched a knowledgeable technician that day. He promptly and professionally repaired the door in less than 30 minutes. He noticed my other garage doors had screws missing and told me he could address the situation which would also help balance the doors. Initially I waived him off because of the coldness but he said it would only take a few minutes. In less than 20 minutes he tightened all the screws, replacing 5-10 missing screws, greased the joints and wheels, and then fixed a broken remote clicker. Upon his completion all three of my doors (one a large double door) were functioning smoothly and quietly. I was totally satisfied with his work from a quality and price perspective. Thank you for a job well done! read more

I have nothing but praises for Ed's Garage Door. I called them up when I was stuck in my house and unable to open my garage. They answered the phone immediately and within one hour I had a service technician at my door. They explained what the problem was fixed it on the spot and the charge was very reasonable. so if your ever stuck and can't get out, call Ed's Garage Door. read more

I called Ed's Garage Doors telling them the keypad was stuck. On the phone they said I needed a new keypad. They sent someone out just to tell me try changing the code because often-used buttons stick. They charged me $165. I called to complain that they cost me $165 when they could have read more

Sadly, I wasted 5 months of my limited time dealing with this company so I would have a functional garage door by the winter. I chose the door back in early September 2024 and quickly made a deposit. My contractor then noticed that the dimensions wouldn't work. We therefore reordered 2 doors mid October that would work dimensionally. Fine - no problem. I checked on the order before the holidays - no response. I checked again on status after the holidays and finally got a call back to say that the order was never put in. Wow! I said "don't order again until you talk to me, I'm not happy". I called again and they had placed the order (3 months late!) without my consent. I called back and asked for a full refund via a check. The next week after not hearing any confirmation- I called again. It turns out they credited my credit card (which eliminated my credit card points I had earned - a double whammy. This company was hard to deal with and a complete waste of my time. I now have to start the project all over again with a reputable company. Do not waste your time - they will not take care of and keep track of your order. read more

Ed's is the only garage repair company I call when my garage doors need service and repair. They're prompt, professional and great to deal with. Oscar, one of their service technicians repaired our garage doors this week. He was polite and quickly fixed the issue. It's nice to work with a local company as opposed to a national business that still cares about delivering good customer service. read more

I bought a new door opener 4 months ago and the new torsion spring broke. my other two doors have springs at least 10 years old and they're working well. not only am I disappointed by the poor installation since it obviously was done properly, but here's the worst part my car is trapped in the garage. it's the weekend and they claim 24 hour service. I've left three messages in the past day and I've gotten no return call back I would never use them again. read more

Prompt service, top quality work. Ed's Garage Doors is THE place to get your garage doors.

The service people that show up are not experts. I've had my garage door service a few times on the same issue. But they send the invoice asap. read more

If you are looking for professional, courteous service, then this is the company to work with. We have dealt with very pleasant employees, they call to confirm in advance of an appointment, and they show up when they say they are going to. I truly wish we had dealt with them when we installed the garage doors initially! read more

Friendly staff and excellent service. I scheduled an appointment a week out and they called a few days early saying a spot opened up. We had an issue with our garage door and they came and fixed the issue quickly and took the time to explain what was going on. Definitely recommend! read more

Angelo came to my place and spent hours fixing part of my garage that was slanted open at the bottom and where mice were getting through. it was an extremely difficult job and one where others said it could not be done. He spent a lot of time and went way above the call of duty to fix it. And, mice not coming in anymore! Guys from Fox Pest Control were very impressed and said they too would recommend Eds Garage in future. Could not be happier. Thank you!! read more

This is where to go for your next garage doors, installation and maintenance. The owner runs the business as if he'll see you in town the following day. He and his team are totally focussed on the customer and taking care of their needs long after the initial sale. We purchased two insulated doors and installation and have had them maintained by Ed's for many years since. A wonderful showroom allows you to see firsthand what you're buying along with all accessory options such as the door handles, etc. Stop looking elsewhere and go to Ed's, you won't be disappointed. read more

Ed's garage installed new door tracks and Lift Master door openers to accommodate a car lift in my garage a few years ago and they did an excellent job. I recently had Ed's service the weather stripping on my doors. In the process they encountered some problems and Ed's staff was all over it to get the problem resolved. It required a return visit and new parts. They did the repairs ASAP at no additional charge. Ed's Garage professional care is an example for what customer care should be. My thanks to Ed's staff. read more

This was the first place I went to and I didn't need to check out any other competitors in the area for a quote. I was helped right away upon walking in. My salesman (Eric) was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions on the spot which helped me with making my decision that day. Upon coming out to my location to view the 3 garage bays, he suggested a new kind of design "high lift" He immediately returned to work and sent me the pamphlets and photos explaining this new track system. We have an unusually high ceiling in our garage and this works perfectly. We've received many compliments thus far and people are very intrigued by it. From the showroom visit with my salesman, to the installation, dealing with payment through the admin assistant - everything was seamless and we are happy with our purchase. read more

Don't waste your time. Called for a tune up when the tech arrived he noticed which company my door opener was and that was it. He either didn't know how to work it or it would have taken a little time to figure it out. So he leaves claims the office will call on Monday - guess what no call. That was not surprising. The doors aren't old. Go to the next as I have done. Waste of time. read more

When I needed my garage door repaired, they were very responsive and came out quickly. Their repairman was helpful, knowledgeable and, most-importantly, did not try to "upsell" me on anything. Price was fair. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Great selection and we got the assistance we needed. But I'm giving it three stars because it seems to us that every person in that showroom has lost their ability their smile or be friendly. Are they all totally bored with their jobs? It's a real shame because it makes me not want to return to that beautiful store. read more

This group is great to work with. If a little hard to reach at first, once you connect you quickly understand that they are worth the wait. Good sales and showroom, poor service technicians. The salesmen were nice and informative but it's downhill from there. Scheduling a service was a hassle. They missed an appointment the first time, the second time when the technician arrived he didn't know why he was there. I'm sure there is better around. read more

If you are a type "A" personality then I am a type "A" to the second degree----I shop and compare like no other and I look for the best quality, best price, and best customer service. Bottom Line---Ed's Garage Doors gets straight "A's" all across the board. The quality is truly outstanding---they were built exactly to spec--and yes I measured every thing---the installation--well I was not there but my wife was and she said he could not have been nicer ---- the sales person was aggressive enough while be low key at the same time ----as far as price, they were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive---but in the end, I truly believe I got more than what I paid for --- seriously it has dressed up my house to the point that others have made positive remarks and have asked where I got the doors---When someone can satisfy me, I become there best advertisement---shop all you want, but you will not find anyone better than Ed's Garage Doors---as mentioned straight "A's" across the board. read more
