THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! I've never had a better Auto Collision repair experience. My front bumper needed replacing after I hit a water pump hidden in overgrown grass. (Thus, I chose to not go through insurance.) Andy welcomed me with friendliness, honesty, efficiency, and clearcut info. He also helped arrange a rental car for me. The price I was quoted, was what I paid, and my car looks better than it did when I bought it. I couldn't be happier, and endorse this place whole-heartedly. Many thanks to everyone at Ed's who - believe it or not - actually made this ordeal FUN. I'm not kidding. - Carol, Oakdale, NY read more

I can't say enough good things about Ed's. Whether you speak to John or Andy, they're responsive, understanding, patient, and have years of experience and the knowledge that comes with it to pass along to the customer. I'm my case, dealing with someone's insurance was much easier to navigate because of Andy's knowledge and suggestions. The work was done quickly and it came out fantastic. They even had the car nearly detailed afterward. I am beyond happy and am so glad I could use a local shop, which by the way is very clean. Highly recommend!!! read more

These guys turned what could have been a terrible experience into a pleasant one. Very professional. They made sure the insurance company paid to have the car fixed the right way, and not with scrap yard garbage. Beautiful job, kept me up to date and informed and walked me through the process so I knew what was going on. Dealt with both John and Andy and they are very caring, patient and want to be sure you are taken care of. Hopefully I won't have to ever go back, but if the need comes up, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Thanks guys! read more

Had minor collision work done there and they are thorough and efficient. Everyone there was so nice and told me exactly what I needed to know. They gave me a time frame and I was pleased at how accurate their time frame was because I needed to have my car back to go to work. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a good, honest and thorough place to bring their car if they are in need. read more

After a torrential rain storm with high winds had hit L.I. in early September, I discovered that a humongous tree branch had fallen on my Acura RDX. There was significant damage to the roof and other parts of my car. I had always taken very good care of the car and was feeling a little "down" seeing it in this condition. After getting an insurance estimate, I brought the car to Ed's Auto Collision. What a great decision! John, the owner, realized that the estimate was not enough to cover the parts and labor that truly needed to be done. He contacted my insurance and secured a new estimate. He also gave me a contact referral for my rental car. I was impressed with his concern and thoughtfulness. When my car was repaired, I was even more impressed! John, Andy and their staff did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Amazing! Andy really cares about your car but also cares for you as a person. Really good bunch and highly recommend to anyone.

Almost two years after hurricane sandy and I am still finding broken glass in my car that the manager Andy Brown was supposed to have cleaned up as part of their servicing if my vehicle. Very disappointed in him and Ed's for not having a competent manager! read more

John at Ed's auto body took such good care of my car , And me during what could have been a traumatic experience, they did such a beautiful job on my Lexus, they even washed and vacuumed it and took care of old scratches without charging me extra.I am thrilled with the work they did and so great full that I found them.No wonder Ed's is so highly recommended by our local community! read more

This place is great....Very professional, no games, or "sketchiness"....cleanest autobody office anywhere... the work they did was fantastic...I looked at five body shops before this one for an estimate, nearly all of the others had "red flags" or some negative reviews...yet Ed's did not disappoint once I chose them and had the work done and picked up the car...in fact, I had Ed's repair a terrible paint job that I had done previously at another body shop in Brookhaven.....I will refer Ed's to others and hope I never need bodywork again, but if I do, I will only use Ed's...John spoke with me on the phone about some details that I wanted done on the car, and they followed them exactly, no screw ups....In addition, I was extremely pleased with how they detailed the car for me when it was all finished....it was immaculate when I picked it up, and the bodywork and paint were top notch perfect...5 stars, no doubt read more

Can't say enough good things about Ed's Auto Body. They are friendly and patient during a time that can be stressful having to deal with everything that comes along with fixing your car and insurance companies, etc... They excel at their work and we got our car back looking spotless. I have moved away from the area but brought my car back here since I had used them year's ago for another accident I had and it is worth the time and peace of mind to take my car here to know that a good job is being done by good people. We dealt with Andy who is knowledgeable, honest and understanding. We had issues with our insurance company and he may have taken an earful from us venting our stresses but never once did he waiver in his calm and courteous demeanor. Thanks guys! read more

Can you imagine finding a body shop that advocates for you during the whole process of repair and insurance work? Additionally, wouldn't it be great to get your car back looking like it rolled out of a dealer showroom? Look no further! From start o finish, you will not be disappointed in having Ed's do your body work. I only had a minor accident but it's always an upsetting experience when you're in a collision. Plus, my car is on a lease so my work had to be top-notch. John and his team are highly knowledgeable, experienced, accommodating, professional with high quality output and made the entire experience much easier to manage and much less stressful than it could have been. I can't imagine why someone would give Ed's less than 5 stars! read more
