Lux Cars always has a good number of very nice cars to choose from, so I enjoy shopping their selection. I, of course, found a super-nice vehicle and Mike assisted me with setting up financing, down payment, etc. Nice buying experience!

Time for an update on my review of Lux Cars…read more.. Bottom line on top: AVOID LUX CARS LIKE THE PLAGUE! Here's why I advise you to avoid Lux Cars: 1) Sales rep Val Kats added on a $250 "interior maintenance" package to the invoice without asking me about it or even discussing it with me. 2) After I bought the car, my local mechanic found that one of the rims was bent and that one of the tires was significantly older than the others - things that a reputable car dealer would have found and fixed before selling a used car. 3) And here is the kicker: When I bought the car, it had a "clean" Carfax. When I went to sell it several years later, the Carfax report showed that the car had been in an accident. WTF?! Turns out the accident didn't get reported to Carfax until 4 months AFTER I bought the car. Looks to me like Lux knew about the accident (which would explain the bent rim) but withheld the info from Carfax until they could unload the car on a sucker. As a result, I took a bath when I sold the car, getting much less money for a car that had been in an accident vs a car with a clean Carfax report. I see lots of reviews on Yelp from people who had similar bad experiences with Lux. Avoid this dealership like the plague.

I found them very helpful and professional. They quickly found the problem with my car and quickly performed the needed service. Their staff was excellent in taking care of the problem. I went back to get an oil change here because of the great service I received last year…read more Unfortunately, the service I received was horrible and have lost trust in this place. Went in on a Friday afternoon for a scheduled oil change and was there for 2.5 hours! I was told that my car was done so I paid for the oil change. Side note: I was told AFTER I tapped my credit card that there would be a 3% fee. I asked if I could use my debit card instead. There was an option to select Yes or No to the fee so the lady behind the counter clicked No and said the charge still went through. What is the point of having this option??!! Irritating and somewhat shady. Back to the story: The lady saw me get ready to go and did say that my car would be another 10 minutes because they had taken it to drive around the block. Fine. I waited and waited and my car still wasn't ready and no one was available behind the counter to ask. Luckily another man came out to help another customer and I asked him about my car which he automatically brushed me off with a response "yeah it's coming out." But still no car. Another man came out to help another customer and I asked him if he could check the status of my car which I got an annoyed look from him with no response except he just walked to the back and asked about my car. Seriously?! No one else came back out but I heard someone yell "it's coming out right now" and when I looked outside, my car was being driven out of the garage. The man driving my car apologized and explained that the lady should have communicated better and told me that they were still performing tests which took longer than she told me. "Performing more tests", "driving it around the block"...generic excuses thrown at me while not being told exactly what the real status of my car was, all the while behind an enclosed garage with no visibility to what they were actually doing with my car. I don't like being treated like this especially because I didn't see them treating anyone other customers like this. Like the other bad reviews on here and Google, the service you get here is hit or miss. You might save some money on a couple of things but just think if it's really worth it including the time you lose. For me, it's not worth being treated like this and not being able to trust the level of service I'll be getting.

It is unheard of in this business about this kind of small, at home feeling type of company. He cares about his reputation and doing right for his customers. I am a passionate person and came off fairly abrasive because I expected to be ripped off or to haggle. But there really was no need. He was kind, calm, cool and just had a sense of authenticity about him. He was very calm and respectful. He answered all of my questions and I didn't really have to negotiate or bargain with him. He was able to really sell me a great car for an amazing price without the extra stress that you can expect at all the other car dealerships. This is where you go to buy a car, don't waste your time with other places because what ends up happening is other places will waste your time, waste your money and sell you sometimes not the best car. He's pretty close, he's in a good area and he's just a good guy Thank you for all of your help Adrian. I have attached a picture of my beautiful car.

The car had a stain near the roof that the salesman brushed off as "just a stain." Other Fiat owners told us it's usually a sign of a leaky sunroof. When we started the car, multiple warning lights came on for lamps/lights being out. The vehicle wasn't even cleaned -- there was garbage in the console -- and we also found rust on the subwoofer. For a car that supposedly passed a "safety check," these issues should have been caught before showing it to a customer. While I may not be an expert on cars, I do understand that stains typically don't just show up on the roof, and that warning lights on the dashboard shouldn't come on without reason. We declined to buy the car and explained why. A few days later, the dealership called to negotiate on price, saying they were addressing the sunroof. But the problem wasn't just the sunroof -- it was the overall lack of care and transparency. When I said this wasn't the right dealership for me, I meant it. Buyers beware: if obvious issues are overlooked before you even drive it, imagine what else could be missed.

Last week my 30 year old daughter's small SUV was totaled (no injuries thankfully). She is single & lives in southern CA.  A nurse at UCLA hospital,  she needed a vehicle immediately. She went to 3 dealers in her Santa Monica neighborhood. looking to buy another SUV. All 3 tried to take advantage of her dire situation with high pressure sales tactics, bait & switch, etc. Being so fortunate to know MARCIN AJDUKIEWICZ of LEXUS of ARLINGTON, we knew we could count on him -again! Our family & friends buy their vehicles from MARCIN AJDUKIEWICZ.  His dealership is the best dealership & the ONLY dealership for us. As usual, MARCIN returned our call immediately. We told him our daughter was looking for a  blue Kia Sportage with light interior, moon/sun roof out & of course all the safety features & she needed it shipped to CA ASAP! The next day MARCIN AJDUKIEWICZ connected us with  GM ALLEN GOOCH  of BOB RORHMAN KIA of LAFAYETTE INDIANA and his BEST salesperson LOGAN VANDEMEER. They cracked my windshield and then insisted that I get it covered under my comprehensive insurance or through the extended warranty. There was no crack on the windshield when I brought the car for service. The service consultant, Alex Ramos, did NOT observe or document any cracks on the windshield when the car was brought in. Additionally, the mechanics working on the car also did not observe nor document a crack on the windshield. Therefore. upon completion of the service, when I took the car back, I was shocked to notice an approximately 6-8 inches crack on the passenger side windshield. I drove the car back immediately to the dealership. Initially, the service consultant agreed that he had observed no cracks when the car had come in and nor had he informed me or documented a crack on my windshield when the car had come in for service. However, after consulting his manager he started insisting that there could have been a chip that had become a crack when the car was put up and down for Service. Additionally, his manager insisted there could have been a crack when the car was brought in and that it hadn't been visible because the crack/chip was located at the bottom of the windshield where the area was black. And to make matters worse when I asked to see the pictures as taken when my car was brought in, to confirm whether a chip could have been there when the car was brought in. The service consultant, Alex Ramos, refused to provide me with the pictures-- he kept saying,"I can't show you the pictures right now." It wasn't until he took the pictures of the cracked windshield and downloaded them to his computer that he showed me the pictures. Moreover, he then proceeded to delete a bunch of pictures from his computer and when I questioned him about what pictures he was deleting he said it was his computer and that I should let him work on his computer. He then proceeded to show me the pictures that were taken after the service had been performed, and the crack was visible on the windshield as the pictures that were taken when the car was brought in! NON OF THE PICTURES WERE DATED OR TIME STAMPED. When I questioned him and his manager about it, they had no answer. Instead they kept insisting that I get my insurance or the extended warranty to cover the replacement. I had purchased the car and an extended warranty at Lexus of Naperville, another fraudulent dealership!! Therefore, I called Lexus of Naperville regarding the extended warranty the "platinum warranty" that I had purchased that was supposed to cover the windshield or so I was told at the time of purchase, however, I was informed that the extended warranty did not cover the windshield! At this point, I have opened a complaint with Lexus of North America. I am very upset!! I will also provide my insurance company about this.
