Then I saw Dr. Diane on a panel of "The Great Love Debate" and she just made sense. I set up an initial session with her and rolled right into her program. We worked on fixing many of my issues that I didn't realize i had and that were keeping me from a happy, healthy relationship, including my history. We started with changing some of my actions and perceptions and then worked on dating skills and set realistic goals that were tailored to me. I am a successful business woman and we think we know it all. Dr. Diane is an extremely intelligent woman, she knows what she's talking about and has a very direct, yet gentle way about her. She's truthful, which sometimes I didn't want to hear, but need to....and she was right on. I am now in a long term amazing relationship and recently engaged, all because of Dr. Diane. Mr. Right did not just appear, nor was it luck....it was listening to Dr. Diane, changing myself and changing the way I went about dating. I would suggest that any single woman go see her......she is the best.

I worked closely with Katie, referring her student-clients who needed extra supports in such areas as: stress management, social skills, coping through parental divorce, and building resiliency in the tough world our teens now inhabit. Katie showed great care in assisting these students reach a better quality of life through her thorough knowledge of teen issues, and the best ways to help them address life through empowerment and acceptance. Through the ever-present supervision of her interns, and consultation with school staff, Katie was able to oversee multiple cases and treated each one with the dedication every parent would desire. Katie is able to connect with teens and adults alike, and was a definitely positive influence on many individually, as well as continually promoting the supportive culture of the school - always with resolve and a smile on her face. Katie is warm and accepting, and really provides a space for others to feel comfortable talking about their difficulties. She also works from a belief that people are inherently good (not broken) and that they have the capacity to solve their problems with some assistance through counseling. Katie works with teens (and parents) where they're at psychologically, encouraging growth at a pace that is tailored to their individual needs. I fully support Katie as a therapist, and advocate of the families she works with, who really understands the common struggles as well as knows how to help those through the tough times. Jeff

At our first session, I did not bring my checkbook but at the very next weekly session, I promptly paid him for 2 sessions to included what I missed the first time. On our 3rd visit, he was rather aggressive in telling me as I am writing him a check, that I owed him now for 2 sessions again. We went back and forth and I told him I would pay for today's session only and would email him a copy of the cleared check where I paid him for the first unpaid session. Only then would he back off and barely apologized for coming at my so aggressively. I've called him frantically to seek advice, as I can only assume people seeking mental help do not have problems that can be confined to normal business hours and within a paid session, all he offered me was to make another appointment to go over strategies and some online resources. I was FRANTIC on the phone and his response did not make me feel any better. In fact, I felt even more isolated. The next session, he proposed a diagnosis without any strategies and continued with his line of lets make another appointment to go over strategies and possible treatment. We had to cancel an appointment due to the holidays and he said he never got our message so he charged us for that appointment. We went back and forth playing phone tag and he finally offered to split his fee with me, even though we eft the message within his 48 hour courtesy request. He just wants to set up more appointments so that he has someone paying his car payments.
