I had accepted the fact that I was probably headed for implants due to extensive gum loss and shifting teeth. I had never had this done before and had no clue about root canals. I was numbed for the procedure. I was so numb that I never felt the sharp metal tool , that he was using, penetrate my throat. After many attempts at retrieving it (he never told me what was going on-I never knew anything was impaled into my throat because I was so numb and he never told me. I knew something was wrong, but not sure what. Dr Sciba used tweezers again in my mouth and said "I dropped it". He had dropped a metal tool sharper than a needle into my intestines (I found out later). He never once apologized!!! I ended up in a San Antonio hospital for 4 days. I can not give all the details of this nightmare here. It would take up to much space!
