Everyone who works there is thoughtful and compassionate. We ended up with a plan that will most likely avoid probate, but also provides the flexibility to adapt in the event that we are able to grow our estate larger than some of the net worth parameters that we might bump up against in WA state. And they are always there to help if we need further consultation and advice. We also felt that the service they offered was priced competitively.

He explained everything so that she understood what we were doing, and carefully helped her understand and choose what she wanted regarding how the trust was set up. And Paul and his staff continue to help me as a trustee to manage the assets and planning. Paul even has videos that really helped me understand what to expect and have lots of information for trustees and beneficiaries. I highly recommend Paul and Planning with Purpose. Paul is a very good person, and is a great asset to his clients. I am so happy we chose to create a trust for my mother's estate through Planning with Purpose. I had been overwhelmed and exhausted by all the tasks of handling my mother's affairs and Paul & PWP helped immeasurably to get financial things and the future under control.

Brandon and his assistant Alisha did a wonderful job representing us for my wife's Green Card application. Note to anyone in the Chinese community that reads this: Brandon is fluent in Mandarin which is very rare for lao wai, and the staff are all native Mandarin speakers. If you want your immigration documents prepared accurately and in a very timely manner, please use Gillin Law. The Green Card application is often refused for small errors, and you will never have this problem with Brandon. Their rates are very reasonable, and you can relax knowing that your application will proceed without delays and returns. Those who represent themselves have a fool for an attorney!

We initially met with Mr. Isaacson and team to get my mom's estate in order. Within 6 weeks, we had our initial meeting, signed a will, POA, discussed end-of-life wishes, transferred a home into a trust, created an additional trust, and funded the entire plan during a meeting that included my mom's financial advisor. The WA Elder Law team did everything they could to streamline the process for us...they did all of the coordinating, scheduling Zoom links, advising, copying/scanning. For a process that covers difficult topics (e.g., death, family dynamics, MONEY!), this was as enjoyable as it gets. The expertise and hands-on approach at WA Elder Law makes you feel safe, secure, and comfortable during what can be a very emotional process. We learned so much from this process, and my husband and I will not hesitate to work with WA Elder Law for our own estate planning. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I wound up spending thousands of dollars on trusts that either didn't do what they were supposed to do, or that I didn't need. I also paid them thousands for assistance in filing for Medicaid. Months went by and they did nothing. They wouldn't respond to my emails and I basically had to threaten to sue in order to get them to take action. I'm reluctant to write this review because there are good people that work there. But I am enraged by with the principal Brian Isaacson. He is oily. The bottom line is I feel they owe money for services not rendered or not needed and I don't see ever getting it back. I feel taken advantage of, both personally and on behalf of my parents. One other thing, if you have to deal with them, don't pay in advance. That's the one thing they're really efficient at - getting the money up front. My advice is to stay away.

It is my privilege to write a recommendation for my attorney, Stephanie Haslam…read more Stephanie founded Compassionate Legal Care, which is aptly named, because she truly cares about her clients and goes out of her way to serve them. Stephanie has been a great resource for numerous of my family members. She helped my late husband and me with our estate planning and now, several years later, has prepared pre-nuptial agreements for my upcoming marriage. My father-in-law has benefited from her services as well. Additionally, I introduced her to my brother so he and his wife could update their legal documents. Stephanie drove to their home, quite a distance to do the signing, as it was easier for them. One of the things that has impressed me about Stephanie is her journey into the legal profession. She previously worked as an occupational therapist dealing primarily with adults with physical and mental disabilities. She discovered that the correct use of law is a powerful tool in protecting these vulnerable individuals, and she took that knowledge and compassion into forging a new career in law. For as long as I've known Stephanie, she has impressed me with her genuine interest in me and in helping me arrange my legal matters in a way most beneficial to me.

Stephanie patiently walks you through every part of the process of producing your documents, making sure your wishes are captured exactly as you envision and then ensuring you understand and feel fully confident in what you're signing.
