We initially met with Mr. Isaacson and team to get my mom's estate in order. Within 6 weeks, we had our initial meeting, signed a will, POA, discussed end-of-life wishes, transferred a home into a trust, created an additional trust, and funded the entire plan during a meeting that included my mom's financial advisor. The WA Elder Law team did everything they could to streamline the process for us...they did all of the coordinating, scheduling Zoom links, advising, copying/scanning. For a process that covers difficult topics (e.g., death, family dynamics, MONEY!), this was as enjoyable as it gets. The expertise and hands-on approach at WA Elder Law makes you feel safe, secure, and comfortable during what can be a very emotional process. We learned so much from this process, and my husband and I will not hesitate to work with WA Elder Law for our own estate planning. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I wound up spending thousands of dollars on trusts that either didn't do what they were supposed to do, or that I didn't need. I also paid them thousands for assistance in filing for Medicaid. Months went by and they did nothing. They wouldn't respond to my emails and I basically had to threaten to sue in order to get them to take action. I'm reluctant to write this review because there are good people that work there. But I am enraged by with the principal Brian Isaacson. He is oily. The bottom line is I feel they owe money for services not rendered or not needed and I don't see ever getting it back. I feel taken advantage of, both personally and on behalf of my parents. One other thing, if you have to deal with them, don't pay in advance. That's the one thing they're really efficient at - getting the money up front. My advice is to stay away.

Stephanie doesn't believe in cookie cutter solutions -- she truly takes the time to understand your values and what matters most to you before creating customized estate plans. From the very beginning, her approach felt deeply personal and incredibly thoughtful. Every document she created was individually tailored with remarkable care and expertise. That level of detail and customization proved invaluable after my loved one died. Her documents held up to some difficult and unique circumstances surrounding his death and provided tremendous peace of mind. Stephanie patiently walks you through every part of the process of producing your documents, making sure your wishes are captured exactly as you envision and then ensuring you understand and feel fully confident in what you're signing. Her fees were exactly as discussed, with no surprises and at no point did I feel rushed. She went above and beyond my expectations in extraordinary circumstances. Compassion is truly the cornerstone of her practice. Stephanie brings not only expertise, but genuine heart. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The estate had very little documentation and had to be built back from the ground up. Mike's legal expertise and agility in moving between shifting scenarios is exceptional, but also noteworthy is his patience, understanding and compassion for his clients. Return communication is very prompt and always reassuring. Easy going, smooth, highly ethical and a master at his craft. Excellent results. Truly like finding a rare agate on a pebble beach. Highly recommend.

In November 2021, I visited his office to get copies of some of the documentation from the 2017 case. While waiting for the copies to be presented to me I quietly paced in the lobby. Within minutes Michael Jacobs himself stormed down from his office to ask me what I needed. When I told him that I was waiting for copies of my paperwork he told me to sit down. I told him that I was fine standing and that I would be leaving shortly (as soon as I got the copies, which I was told would be ready in a few minutes). He aggressively told me again to sit down. This encounter made me extremely uncomfortable. I regret working with this firm and cannot believe how poorly they treated me, their customer (who paid their office $5K for their mediocre services). If I could choose zero stars I would.
