Fantastic service, incredibly quick, friendly and so helpful to fix a zipper issue. Definitely using them for alterations again!

Amazing! I took a dress in on Saturday afternoon to be taken in a few sizes. The dress was fully lined. He had me try it on and he pinned and fit it to me perfectly. It was ready the next Monday and very well done! Bravo! I will return! read more

Needed a pair of jeans hemmed. The older asian man was difficult at best. Rude, argumentative, difficult to understand, wanted payment up front, raised his voice. I was trying hard to understand and communicate with him. Wish I could say the same for him. I did not leave my clothes because he was so awful. I left feeling some kind of way. Horrible experience. read more

Man, i understand that certain people can find the pro tailor a bit abrupt, but honestly maybe don't go into the exchange looking to have your feelings taken care of with perfection, try focusing on the clothes, because he certainly does! ESL is only difficult for those who don't want to try so, if you have an ounce of patience, don't mind short efficient responses, and want literally anything tailored.... look no further. My 68 yr old mother has been going to mr. kim for over 20+ yrs. and they have a small but great relationship and she is picky ands has never once complained, not once. She introduced me to mr. kim when i needed patches on vintage leather (thick leather too) and her hand sewed each one at home overnight because he likes to please his customers. If someone acts up, he may dent your service, as anybody should. Don't believe the rating, believe a loyal customer who had been looking for years for a quality tailor and have tried most places within 45mins from edmond. THIS IS YOUR GUY! thank you sir. see you tomorrow actually! read more

Edmond Alterations - jackets and vest he's sewn on recently - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Edmond, Oklahoma

How this place stays in business is beyond me. An older Asian man runs the place and is argumentative and rude- it's almost comical. He cuts you off as you are talking and demands payment up front; that's when I told him I'd go somewhere else. There's so many other alternation places that treat you right why go here. read more

I came in to Edmond Alterations for the first time on Monday. I needed two pairs of linen pants hemmed very quickly. Even with the language barrier, he was kind and able to accommodate me. We talked well enough to find a common interest. He completed the pants for me in 2 HOURS! I came back to pick them up and was very pleased with the work that was done. They do require payment upfront, but it is a very reasonable price, especially for the turnaround time. I would 100% recommend Mr. Kim and his services. read more

Edmond Alterations did an amazing job on my prom dress!! I had to have it hemmed a bit because it was too long, and they did great on it. One thing about my dress is that it has tons of pearl beading, which made it more difficult to work on, but they didn't let it get in the way! They worked on it very quickly but meticulously as well. They do quality work there, and I highly suggest this place! read more

Terrible experience. This old man came up front (I got the impression he was the owner or at least a manager) and was incredibly rude. I barely got my inquiry out when he criticized me and abruptly shut me down. I thought maybe he misunderstood something due to a possible language barrier. Before I could even try rephrasing my request, he had already turned away and walked off, despite me clearly still talking! Incredibly rude and unpleasant experience. Who knows how good the actual tailoring/alteration skills are. Mr. Customer Service never got far enough for me to find out. read more

We have been taking our alterations to these people for more than a decade. They are very meticulous and hardworking professionals. Only place my husband will take his military patches and they will be straight and positioned correctly. They have hemmed my pants, because I am short. Today they took care of us while we waited 5 min. (Small job). Great experience. read more

Horrible customer service! Not helpful answering my questions about Jean hemming. Appeared annoyed when I was showing him the simple alteration I needed and kept interrupting me. Acted as if he didn't want my business. Quoted me a price and then told me to leave. Literally in the parking lot writing this because I'm so shocked this is even a thriving business with the customer service I received. read more

The man that works here was very rude. I decided to check out another alteration store to compare prices and he was very disrespectful to me. I'm not sure if the services are good, but the customer service was very low. read more

The guy that works there is incredibly rude. I needed a simple alteration on a dress and he was so mean and was treating me like I was stupid. I am not a difficult person and am easy going, I literally left and I'm never going back here. I don't care how good you are at your job you can treat people like human beings. read more

Edmond Alterations does quality work. He gets things done fast and correctly. I recommend.

I had about 10 jeans that needed repaired and it was reasonably priced, fast, and the gentleman was very nice and professional

Excellent quality work and value ! I've used 6 or 7 alterations services over the years and Mr Kim is certainly at top in his craft. He takes a lot of care to make sure he understands what you want and more importantly that he can do the job properly. Be patient with the process and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended. read more

I highly recommend Edmond Alterations! They are fast and the quality is great. Even with the language barrier, the owner tries his best to be accommodating. Today I came in for a Jean alterations and he had it finished the same day. read more

They have never messed up any of my alterations. They are worth every dollar. The longest I have ever had to wait for an alteration was six days. read more

I didn't know what to expect and if they were gonna be able to fix my dress that I accidentally snagged it and thought I ruined the dress. However I decided to go into this store because it was recommended from a friend and close to home. I must say I was impressed with the fast service and cost. I would definitely recommend this store for alteration. read more

Quality work. Provided on date promised. Happy with results! We'll be back! Five stars!

I needed a dress altered for a wedding and they did a quick turnaround and a high quality job!

This alteration place is amazing!!! They took up my hem which looks perfect. My dress looks beautiful better than when I brought it in. He added a piece so my top fits better. Looks amazing!!! Thank you so much. Very happy customer!!! Dawn Bond read more

Excellent Service!!! Excellent work!!Quick and accurate alterations!!! Curtains, clothes etc

Super fast... did our seam repair within minutes of walking in. Very reasonable price as well.

Extremely rude and disgruntled man working the counter. Held his calendar up and said "too busy" without even listening to my request. Horrible customer service, would not do business here. read more

I recently had a pair of pants tailored here. The owner did a precise job measuring out exactly what I wanted cha he'd with the pants. They ended up fitting better that I could have imagined. The place looks a little outdated, but don't let that fool you from their professionalism. The best alteration place in town. Will for sure be back here! read more

A ZERO stars is more like it. Sexist and rude. I am surprised this guy has not made the news for now he speaks to and treats women. I took pants in to have them hemmed for my daughter. I know her length in these jeans (they just didn't have the short ones so I got reg length) . I told him the length and even had them marked. He would not do it unless she was there to try on. (Kinda hard. She is out of state). As long as he hemmed to the length I said, it is my responsibility if it's wrong. Just do your damn job. I know a guy who takes his in and he does not have this issue. Makes me wonder .... Hmmmm read more

I just needed to have a button repositioned on an outfit I am going to wear in a week. The owner suggested repositioning 2 buttons for symmetry. He has always done a great job for me which is why I return and why his advice is valued. Best of all, he did it while I waited! I highly recommend!!! read more

Edmond Alterations has fixed a dresses for me and my daughters, pants for my mother, and curtains for my home. The gentleman who greets you is very sweet. English is his second language, but the smile on his face and warm conversation are a huge win for me! He is very thorough in the questions he asks and he and the woman who work there, know what they are doing! I trust this place and will continue to use them for as long as they are open! read more

I took 3 Tommy Bahama camp shirts in to have cut down. (The style has changed since I purchased them years ago. The shirts were $125 -150 each, so I didn't want to give them away and start over. I will admit communication is tough, especially with him wearing double masks, and he is opinionated and abrupt. That said, he sized the shirts just as I asked, did a good job and had them ready prior to the promised date. My only issue is I was a bit optimistic regarding my waist size, which is on me, not him. It would seem the low rated reviews posted regarding this business have more to do with the gentleman's personality rather than the quality of his work. If you are looking for quality work and are not of a sensitive, easily offended nature, I believe you will be happy. Snowflakes should probably try another business. read more

Rude, rude, rude. It says open until 6 on yelp, so I drove over after work and arrived about 4:45. The sign said they closed at 5 instead and to wear a mask. I went back to my car to get a mask and entered. The guy seemed annoyed to have a customer. When I asked about getting my pants hemmed, the guy said something about my shoe and I replied yes I have on shoes that I would typically wear with these pants. He cut me off and said no (which made no sense) then told me he closed at 5 and he could help me tomorrow. Unfortunately that doesn't work for me since I work until 4:30 everyday and raced over. Apparently you need to be there by 4 for him to help you. Also, there was an "open" sign turned on in the window. I typically avoid going into a business right at closing, but maybe get your hours correct on yelp and be respectful to your customers. It wouldn't have taken 5 minutes to try on the pants and work on them another day this week. read more

The owner is rude and screamed at me. He forgot to hem one of my dresses and wouldn't listen when I took the dress back. I paid him and had to pay someone else to do it. He wouldn't listen. Never have I had someone be so extremely rude and hateful to me. BTW, I had been there several times. He knew me. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I walked in and before the man even looked at my clothes or asked me what I needed he says 'pay now'. How is this place still in business? He repeated several times 'pay now. Pay now' and wouldn't even discuss what I wanted done to the pants and coat I brought in. I don't know how he would have charged me since he wouldn't listen to what I wanted. Will never be back. I said he was extremely rude and he went 'okay, bye bye. Someone else will come in'. Save your time and go elsewhere. I have no idea about their work - couldn't get that far with the front desk guy. read more

I've never been treated so poorly by a business in my life. I've been to this place twice. The first time I took a dress and his first words were that I needed to pay upfront, which is fine but it was just the way he said it and acted. When I was trying the dress on he started shouting at me so l hurried up. I thought that there were more people but nobody was there. His English is so limited but since I myself am a foreigner I was super understanding of the situation, but he has the tendency to scream at you when you don't understand, also he disregarded anything I said. I want to mention the job he did on my dress was well done, that's why I wanted to put aside his attitude. I decided to come for a second time, again I was screamed at me and when I was trying my dress on he would move my hands around aggressively while raising his voice and rolling his eyes. We couldn't understand each other and he got frustrated and pushed me away twice telling me to go to someone else. I have never felt so humiliated and mistreated. I was just trying to give this man a second chance that he clearly didn't deserve. By the way this is my first time leaving a bad review but he has definitely earned this bad review. Ladies beware. Their job isn't worth the mistreatment. read more

Very friendly! Fast turn around time. Such attention to detail and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. A clean, professional business and we highly recommend him! read more

I went by there on Saturday to see if he could hem my dress. The first thing that came out his mouth was I had to pay up front. That wasn't a problem. He took my dress and put it on the counter. He asked me if I wanted it hem a straight hem. I answered no. The back of the dress is like circle, I wanted him to turn the hem up and follow the out lined. He wanted to cut it straight across and that was not the way the dress was made. I offered to put the dress on and he kept telling. He became very frustrated and told me to go somewhere else. Before I left I told him I can understand why received a bad rating because he doesn't know how to give good customer service. I wouldn't set foot in that store again. He's rude! read more

Very unsatisfied with my experience here today. My usual tailor was closed for the weekend so I decided to try Edmond Alterations. We walk in and the man working sighed like we were horribly putting him out. Before even asking me what I needed done he repeatedly said "pay now, pay now". I put the dress on for him to measure me and he refused to listen to what I wanted. Interrupting me and telling me to hush. Yelled at me a good 15 times for moving. I wanted the waist line of the dress moved up due to being pregnant and he would just not listen to me. He didn't pin the hem or measure how much needed taken off. He didn't pin the shoulders either. I ended up just walking out because I was in no way confident I'd come back and be happy with the end product. Between the very strong language barrier and the rudeness of the man, I would avoid this tailor at all costs! read more

I have been to Edmond Alterations twice in the last few years, both of them being rudely greeted by the older man. In all the places I've been, he is possibly one of the most insufferable people I've met. They do an okay enough job, but the customer service is terrible and is not worth their work. This second time I went in for a simple sewing of a patch, but was interrupted each time I tried to explain the specifics of it. He proceeded to have me pay and as soon as I try to add a final remark for it, he shoos me off like a dog. I don't understand how this place is still in business. read more

Actually the most rude and unhelpful staff in which I have ever experienced working at any store. I ended up grabbing my dress and walking out to find an alternative shop to help me. read more

This is the worst excuse for a business that I've ever seen. Upon entering, the rudest old man possible stared at me without saying a word and then when I "tried" to explain what I wanted done, he wouldn't listen and essentially started yelling at me. This is the "Soup Nazi" of alterations and it was all I could do to not lay this old POS out on the floor, so I gathered my garment, said my parting words and left. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! If I could give Negative Stars, I would!!! read more
